Alright pal. It really was the most bizarre thing that has ever happened to me on a trail. I just felt something push me on the back of my neck and helmet. When I stopped to look around there was nothing there. And then it appeared moments later and stalked me for a few minutes before disappearing into the heather. A beautiful looking bird nonetheless but for a moment it freaked me out. Glad you enjoyed it Robert. As always thanks for watching. Cheers. Stoozer. 🤠

It really spooked me Kenny. I looked around after it happened and saw nothing. Then it appeared and stalked me trying to bomb me from behind. I think it had a nest nearby and had probably never seen a Big Galumph like me before 😂. A beautiful sight though but also a very surreal moment. A pal of mine, who is into Falconry, was amazed to see it was a Short Eared Owl. It was a crazy descent at times with a lot of pits and troughs but I really enjoyed it. More so when I eventually escaped the low cloud canopy. Thanks for watching pal. Cheers. Stoozer.
