Ozone sounds the best and its workflow is the best. You can have a library of stems labeled and you apply it way faster than the other ones plus you can switch through references that you’ve saved without loosing your capture or having to recapture a reference

I liked the izotope match eq better. The fab filter eq sounded muffled and the logic version had a thinned out top end. The izotope eq had more depth and came closer to me.

I was definitely disappointed from the fabfilter in this experiment.

This is of course my opinion. But if you already own Izotope or Fabfilter, use that. I am sure most of us will not create better music with the other one. Sure the workflow might be slighty better for you, but not much. Learn instead what you have. If you want to buy the other one, buy it because you really need it. Not just because someone is saying it's a lot better or cooler. If you don't have either izotope nor fabfilter, learn what's included in your DAW. If you want to upgrade try a demo of several plugins. You will create amazing music no matter what plugins you have.

I agree with you, use what you have. I am just showing here that sometimes you can achieve good results with the built in plugins… I use the izotope on my workflow but not everyone have the budget to invest on that.

I think using something like ADPTR Metric A/B with "Drum stems" "Bass Stem" "Vocals Stem" separate and focusing on the Average levels of each while using matching Eq For Your Groups with give better results than to use it on the reference with all the sounds (a 2 track with no separation)

Yes and no, i like this idea and i have the Metric A/B but It is almost impossible to get the stems unmastered from the big recording studios if you want to match them as you mentioned. 99% of the time, you got to work with a final mastered WAV file as a reference. If you got the stems from a track that you really like, you can use this technique that you mentioned but IMO it is too much time consuming and if you are working for a client, you have to deliver ASAP.

Can you switch between cameras a little more often? This will make your video look much more professional and attract the viewer's attention to the topic at hand. I would suggest try cutting the video every other frame for starters.

I agree that Logic's Match EQ is quite good, the first one I was ever exposed to. Ignoring Logic, I find IK Multimedia's Match EQ to be the best and very easy to use.

I find also Logic's Match EQ really good! I don't have the IK plugins right now unfortunately.
