This was an amazing video about the world of LIS. These games are my favorites. They have such a special place in my heart. As an artist, I enjoyed the look at the art of the games. I have made so many great friends through these games and I am also close to Deck Nine in Colorado, too. Dontnod and Deck Nine have been super caring about their fan base, I have even gotten recognition by Dontnod for an acrylic painting I did of Arcadia Bay. Thanks for a great video Daniel.

I'm obsessed with the art style of LIS! So excited to watch this video Edits: 6:30 exactly, the atmosphere and mood is most important imo! 7:37 I was almost most impressed with the posters and pictures. It's so satisfying how they're put together with just a few key shapes and lines

Wowser, this was a great in depth analysis and an incredible video essay! It's so well done, put together, and narrated that I couldn't believe it's on such a small channel. You deserve so much more subscribers! Many things like the lightning and color palettes that I never consciously noticed while playing before, and now being pointed out going "oh yeahhh", but even subconsciously they do a heck of a lot to make the game feel more immersive and LiS definitely deserves recognition for having such attention to details and player experience.

Sorry but True Colors is terrible. Life is Strange 1&2 are so lovingly hand painted texture and artstyle that work seamlessly. Even the hand crafted Physically based rendering (PBR) is an art in itself makes the game a standout. True Colors on the other hand is a mismatch of style and ugly procedural texturing, bump maps, etc that makes things look plastic and ugly most of the time. LiS 1&2 artstyle still age very nicely.
