The fact that he just sings with a gentle soft tone after an insane high whistle like nothing happened is for me nearly as much shocking as the whistle itself.

I think his voice did cut out (because when microphones cut out they usually make a weird noise) ... he usually goes from head voice to a G7, but it didn't work for him so he went to a C#8 and then to a D8 to make up for it. What an insane courage for a DUDE to decide to go off the piano on a live performance !!!

I have listened to a lot of really famous singers during my life, being brought up by a mom who really loves opera. I've had the pleasure to see them all life on stage, Pavarotti, Domingo, Carreras, Bocelli... Been to David Bowie etc. etc. Great, real treats. But I had the incredible opportunity to see Dimash live twice - and that's a completely different piece of cake, honestly!! He fills the stage in the moment he sets his foot on it... And if he starts to sing, a burst of energy rolls over the audience like a tsunami!! He's a once in a lifetime experience, the most stunning and powerful vocal artist I have ever seen, listened to and felt with my body and soul...💜 Being able to hit A 1 to D 8 is a nice add-on... 😉 Ok... You left me laughing out loud again, receiving a sterned look of my hubby 🤣🤣

Ok you had me yelling...stop pausing RIGHT AT his D8 note!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. He typically does a G7 in this song, its been said he wasnt quite prepared for it at that exact moment (hence no sound coming out) when he was moving his mic but obviously being who he is immediately hit a note even higher seconds later! 💙🤗💙🤗💙🤗💙. You're the ONLY person who talks about the person in the crowd whistling. It really bothers me every time that no other reactor reacts to that. I'm not surprised you pulled through and talked about it. Great attention to detail as always! And Congrats on 10k. PS You also mentioned the lack of sound right before. IIRC. That's another thing that reactors don't talk about either. It's mind boggling that the greatest technical singer has no sound being generated at the time, and reactors dgaf.

The first time I heard Dimash sing "Unforgettable Day," I actually dropped my cell phone in shock at the D8. It is literally a stunning performance. As for other performances by Dimash, I love both of the videos of "Daybreak"... Just a gut-wrenching, heartbreakingly beautiful performance. Another favorite is his stand-alone Diva Dance video where he just has fun and runs all over the place with the song. Filmed a while after his Confessa/Diva Dance, it shows off how much he grew in comfort and experience in just that little amount of time...

I love Dimash too much to even consider that his voice would cut out on him - and having seen this performance probably 1,000 times, here's what l think actually happened during that silent spot that night: First of all, this was already a fun, comfortable concert for Dimash - he was loose, in great voice, and really enjoying himself in front of a huge crowd of fans who were totally with him. Plus, he's a master of mic manipulation, so l think that's what this turned out to be. If you watch his face carefully you'll notice that, around the time of the run, he seems to notice something in the distance and gets a bit of a wild glint in his eyes. I spend a lot of time obsessing over Dimash's facial expressions, and to me it looks like in that moment he heard that D8 in his mind and thought to himself, "l wonder if I can hit that tonight?" Then you can see in his face where he decides, "l think l will go for it." (Btw, I have no doubt that he'd tried and hit that note somewhere before.) Anyway, here, he does his second wavy mic trick while he's feeling out his final decision. Then he commits, cuts his voice, and uses that split second of silence to cue up the D8 and shoot it to the rafters. Afterward, he celebrates with a short, adrenaline-fueled victory stroll! ✌ This is just my .02, but take a look and see what you think! BTW, Congrats on 10k. Told ya! 😉🤣

A song that ought to be at least mentioned on Dimash's birthday is "Daididau", the first Kazakh song he shared with the world through Singer 2017. It obviously means a lot to him, and showing that performance would be a fitting tribute.

I too will have to wait til the morning, it will be 1am here in the UK. I think Dimash is going live on KZbin on 24th at 10pm Astana, Kazakhstan time, not sure what time that will be where you are? It will be 5pm here in the UK. For me, it would be good to do your live after Dimash? Looking forward to your reaction in the morning! 🙂

"When it stops being impressive, I will stop watching" - That's it, everyone, Matthew will spend the rest of his life watching Unforgettable Day! 😂 Jokes apart, I have to say you were very creative on reacting to that in this very special day. Congratulations for 10k, by the way! New recommendation for the next Dimash Wednesday: “Adagio” - it's in English and yes, this one is very impressive (but which song of his isn't? :P). Old recommendation (from the previous video): “The Love of Tired Swans” - the most emotional one, in my opinion. Excited to see how you'll like it :)

Thanks for another awesome reaction! Like others have said, his voice cut out on him. He normally hits a lower whistle note in this song, but he didn't quite get it. He also missed the whistle note in his performance of the song on The Singer. It's amazing that he even attempts a whistle note, so we are ok if he misses it sometimes. We hypothesize that missing the note this time though made him try for a higher note. Also, I'm glad someone finally pointed out that an audience member literally whistled the same note seconds later. I notice it every time I watch reactions to this song, and I find it humorously incredible. I can't not notice it.

Slipped Out ?! 😂 I love his interaction not just during his concerts. He's also has donated half a million to the hospital in his town as well as working with the elderly! He's truly an Angel 😇. Greetings from San Antonio!!! Wow...I totally missed the whistle after Dimash’s D8!!! Besides “Daididau”, this is my next favorite Kazakh song...”Unforgettable Day” is exactly that! Love “Karagym Ai” as my 3rd Kazakh song. Yes, “Your Love” is my favorite English song followed by “Adagio”. The Russian songs are just so good...”Sinful Passion”, “Love is Like a Dream”, and the “Love of Tired Swans”. Dimash is just beyond talented. Thanks once again for pointing out those tiny details and congrats on your 10K subscribers...that’s pretty awesome for just one month! Don’t forget to tune in on Sunday at 9 am (IG) and 11 am (YT) CST for his first LIVE broadcast...special day because the 24th is his birthday! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😁🥰😁👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
