I totally had forgotten dt issue until I saw a post in the verdict and it brought back bad memories,I was just imagining how helpless she was at that time,but both mother n sons heart had been sealed with evil that their conscience no longer existed,I am just imagining how a so called pastor would dissect a pregnant human being like himself,it’s so barbaric and inhumane,it was premeditated,he never ever loved her,she was just a prey,n they must have told him where to easily get a girl for d sacrifice and told him how to go about it,n Favour fell for it with Al his sweet words n when she agreed to date him dy knew she was d sacrificial lamb,my pain with her is not confiding in someone about her relationship,she didn’t even tell her mom if at all,she just did everything in secret,if not dt d Fone was tracked ,the matter would v been a lost case

Neze, thanks for the update. You are a blessed woman. This story is one of those stories that have hugely tarnished the image of Nigerians abroad. For years now, I no longer identify myself to any foreigners black or white that I am originally from Nigeria. Each time I did, the expression on their faces says it all “ I need to be careful around this man “. If human sacrifices actually bring riches, how come the native doctor never carry out the same rituals for himself and become millionaires instead of settling for paltry sum of 210k? (235$).?. This type of evil has nothing to do with unemployment but laziness and greed. Large part of the blame goes to the Nigerian society in general. If you are not rich, you cannot marry a girl of your dream from Igbo land. The dowry payment is neck breaking. If you are not financially buoyant, beautiful girls make jest of you as a broke ass. If you have no car, the society thinks that you are a failure who should keep quiet when big guys talk. You must stay clear of beautiful women because you are a broke ass. Police will favour the rich guy over a man without money over a case that should have ended up in his favour. In a society like Nigeria, those with pockets full of money take the 4 aces. Nobody accord you your due respect when you are poor. All this and many more are some of the major reasons Nigerian youths believe that they must have plenty of money by all means. But Must they kill???

I so agree on all levels with you. I have Nigerian friends for many years now, all of us in the same profession(not nursing), all of what you detailed. However, because of the group we are in, we support each other and have no fear. Very sad that a young lady lost her life to cannibalism by someone she trusted too. This is 2023 and the love for MONEY AND WEALTH, reigns supreme,where friends cannot trust so called friends and family. So very sad😢.
