***** What about all the times God directly orders Moses to slaughter by the hundreds of thousands and keep the young virgins as sex slaves? I'll find the verses if you want, God sure loves murder, slavery, and rape. And even if God was just "allowing" it, how is that any less awful? If you see a man who's about to rape a murder a young woman, and you're considerably larger than him and you wield a knife and handcuffs but don't do anything. I would consider you a vile piece of garbage. And God does just that, hundreds of thousands of times per day.

I'm seeing a lot of comments of people saying "cussing is not the unforgivable sin, it's blasphemy on the Holy Spirit". Yes, most of us know that. Jeff was just quoting on how other "Christians" treat swearing and cussing, as if it was unforgivable. +Superior Vigil Hello. I have spent much time in this one. Blasphemy Against the Holy Spirit is where one does not Accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. before their death. so see this person now stands before God, but the Holy Spirit is on Earth. and now the Holy Spirit can no longer Lead them to the Cross of Christ to place their faith in Him. so they have Blasphemy the Holy Spirit. or it is when a person Hardens their heart to the point they want nothing to do with Christ ever. so the no longer Hear the Holy Spirit anymore. and since they no longer Hear Him. they have no one to lead them to the cross of Christ. to accept Him as Lord. so they die in the state never accepting Jesus. Hope this helps. God bless. and Christ will forgive any sin as long as the person ask. the Holy Spirit is the one that leads us to Jesus Christ to ask Him into our Hearts. (to get Salvation from Him)

+Superior Vigil let me add on to it... Unforgivable sin is unwillingness to repent. so basically you blaspheme the holy spirit in thinking "i did nothing wrong i did not sin why would i need too" it involves rejecting Jesus in doing so. everything else can be forgiven which in turn means all things but if you do not ask for forgiveness you do not receive it. so i answered the video. and yes all those other things are good works as a believer. but they wont condemned you to hell if you do not. so that is kind of construed
@mbinyamasai31508 жыл бұрын
Swearing on the holy spirit. For example, I'm sure you are familiar with preachers of L.A. how they misuse the word and the name of the Lord. Or when some people "heal" using the holy spirit. It's more of like cursing the holy spirit.

Jefferson I love your videos man, I'm an agnostic/atheist person that have refused contact with God. I seen myself like Peter that hated Christianity, and refusing God for a long time. I was almost rushed into getting baptized to Christianity from a bible group on campus because I was all new to it. I have seen that God have been helping direct my life that he is real. He been helping me out for a whole year when I did not truly deserve it. For instance, I was able to get a job to make payments for my education. The awful sinful way that I may struggle through like pornography, cussing, show me how drinking alcohol, smoking weed, and how the worldly way is awful. I can see he pulled the people away from me that I use to do these type of stuff with in my life. Thankfully, my grandmother told me to take time and see what God is showing me, but not to rush into becoming a Christian. I want to do it for the right purpose, so I may help other understand his grace and love towards the world. Why fear the Lord, when he only want to direct his people in the right direction. I still have a lot to learn and grow to understand his Mercy. In meantime, I sorta also changed my music too. I listen more to Wolves at Gate, Disciples, MF, 116, Sent By Ravens, and Spoken,typically Christian music. Please, keep me in prayers and I appreciate all your videos.

Great message. I'm seeing a few comments where people are confused about the "unforgivable sin," so I thought I'd weigh in. The Bible says only one sin is unforgivable: blaspheming the Holy Spirit. Now, I don't think that's talking about a few bad words. More likely what it means is when you reject the Holy Spirit in your heart and deny its power to change lives and wash away sin, you're blaspheming the Holy Spirit. So it's when you reject Jesus at the deepest level, not just by ignoring him or disobeying him, but actually rejecting his power and refusing to have anything to do with him. That's the unforgivable sin, because if you do that, God can't reach you - or won't, because you've made your decision. And as a general rule of thumb, if you're worried that you might have blasphemed the Holy Spirit, then you almost certainly haven't.

@mendiechase82779 жыл бұрын
Robin Marie So then what you're saying is that you disagree with the bible? The bible literally says there's an unforgivable sin. But if you want to be like all the other silly little christians and pick and chose what you like, and interpret the bible to what works best for you, then go ahead. So based on your commemt, you're saying the bible isn't perfect. Cause if you say that evert single sin is forgiveable, but your bible says there are unforgivable sins, then that's a contradiction, which means the "perfect" word of god isn't so perfect.
@freethinker4248 жыл бұрын
I'm an atheist, but if christians actually read their bible they would know that the unforgivable sin is not "rejecting Jesus forever". According to Jesus himself, the unforgivable sin is "to speak against the holy spirit". So if you say "The holy spirit is evil." you are going to hell because that sin will not be forgiven. Rejecting Jesus forever is implied in the bible as being an unforgivable sin, and it obviously is, but it is not written in the word as such.
@RyanGalazka8 жыл бұрын

@sacredpotato482110 жыл бұрын
Mariaaa Rios being a Christian is a choice that must change your life and the way you act . I was baptised as a child but ended up acting terrible and in no way how a Christian should act but recently I accepted Jessus again and I admit I have committed terrible sins since then but I came back repented and confused my sins . In conclusion being a Christian is a choice and you don't have to be baptised for but being baptised is a promise to live your life for the Lord.

Sir you are preaching what I had thought all my life I thank you for having mind and voice to stand up. Thank you, I hope you reach millions with your words and encourage those with a similar message.
@Andrewizner11 жыл бұрын
The thing is that Jesus was called to save the whole world. And He's God, so of course He can fulfill that burden. But the average Christian can't save the world. Instead of trying, we need to take a lesson from Jesus. Even though He was called to the world, He only saves those who ask Him too. Our responsibility as Christians is to do the same. Don't feel guilty for ignoring a homeless man you might see, but if he calls out to you for help, do everything in your power to help.
@timjoad11 жыл бұрын
I don't agree with this. We are called to absolute surrender. W are 100%, wholly God's. If God leads a homeless man across your path, you are charged to make a difference. Rich Mullins would often sign his autograph with the admonition to "Be God's" (note the possessive). We are to be whole and complete instruments of God; serving Him is the real world; everything else is trivial.
@Andrewizner11 жыл бұрын
If God is leading a homeless man to you, that man would likely seek you out for help. But you have to agree that there are millions of people that even if you gave everything you had to, they would be no better off. Just because you see someone you'd like to be able to help, doesn't mean God sent them there so you would help them. And like I said this is a lesson clearly demonstrated by Jesus. While He walked the earth, and when He died for it, the only ones who life He changes, are those who seek Him.

The average Christian is not ready to cut his hand or pull out his eyes in order to stop sinning. He prays mostly for about 15 minus per day and compromises in difficult times. Even though I agree with you that we have to do what we are called to do, I think the average Christian will hardly make it because of their little commitment and unwillingness to make sacrifices, they can even betray their Lord.

Simeon Washington No, that "blog" is also not correct. Simply put. It is calling the Holy Spirit satanic. That is what the Scribes did in Mark 3:22. Jesus performed miracles by the power of the Holy Spirit. They said he did it by the power of Satan. That, and only that, is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Nothing else. Read the whole passage through verse 30.... not in the CEV or other twisted versions. try KJV or NKJV.

Let me ask you this. You say tattoos are ok, you say secular music is ok. But what about where Jesus says to be FRIENDS with the World is to be ENYMIES with God? What about where God says you can not serve God & Serve Mammon? What about where God says to Be Holy for He is Holy? You tell these people that God does not care about how they live just how they serve. But that is NOT what the BIBLE says!!! The Bible says to live righteous and to turn from this world!!!!
@miketoney10010 жыл бұрын
1Pe_1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 1Pe_1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. 1Jn_3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. Rev_22:11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 1Jn_2:29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him. 1Pe_4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 1Pe_3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. Now I love you young man, I love you enough to tell you the Bible tells you, you must turn from sin. And if you do not turn from sin you are NOT of Christ but of the devil. Your buddy here is not going to tell you that. Your preacher is not going to tell you that. cause they want you to believe its all about grace. And yes we have grace but you can not just continue in sin. Like paul says Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? Rom 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. Rom 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. Rom 6:9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. Rom 6:10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Rom 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Rom 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Rom 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. You are free from sin and you should live as such. Not as a sinner who is always justifying your sin by " we all sin" .. No we don't!! I am free from sin!!! I go out everyday & keep Gods commandments. And you can too. And if you cant, well you might want to get with Christ again cause He freed you from sin destroying you!!!

There is no 'unforgivable sin' God can and will forgive anything you do. All you need to do is trust that Jesus died for our sins on the cross and you can know 100% as a fact that you are going to heaven. Seems simple eh? because it is. Why would God over complicate getting to heaven by adding in a bunch of works you need to do or 'unforgivable sins'?

Not so, "Blasphemy of Man, God will forgive and Blasphemy of the Son God will forgive, but he who Blasphemes the Holy Ghost, God shall not forgive." What this means is someone who has, "Tasted of the fruit of the spirit and has completely, and willing turned his back on it, shall never again be renewed unto grace again." The unforgivable sin is exactly as the word declares. Being saved, and knowing the holy spirit well and willingly deciding to leave him because you believe the world has more to offer. The reason this is unforgivable is because you are telling a lie on the holy Spirit, saying that you knew Him so well and yet He wasn't enough. This is the sin Satan had on top of his pride, because this is the lie he tells us today in order to cause this sin. It originated from him and indulging in it makes us just like him.

At the 3:53 mark, you say that god loves the sick, lame, and broken. Your god appears to be afflicted with multiple personality disorder (which I suppose would explain the Trinity). Here are "god's" thoughts on the sick, lame, and broken in Leviticus: *"16The Lord said to Moses, 17“Say to Aaron: ‘For the generations to come none of your descendants who has a defect may come near to offer the food of his God. 18No man who has any defect may come near: no man who is blind or lame, disfigured or deformed; 19no man with a crippled foot or hand, 20or who is a hunchback or a dwarf, or who has any eye defect, or who has festering or running sores or damaged testicles. 21No descendant of Aaron the priest who has any defect is to come near to present the food offerings to the Lord. He has a defect; he must not come near to offer the food of his God"* Nice god you have there. Not only is he petty, vengeful, jealous, and insecure, but he hates handicapped people!

Dustin Zilbauer I must say you did an excellent job ripping that verse right out of context. You claim that God hates handicapped people. So Jesus made the lame walk again; made the blind see; made the sick healthy; cast demons out of men...because he hates them? Why would he do that if he hated handicapped people?
@walterwhite75549 жыл бұрын
Nathan Cross Well other than the tales in the Bible we have zero evidence of any miracles ever actually being done by Jesus the Nazarene, so the question is moot. Sadly there is not one single written record in existence by ANYBODY actually written in the entire 30+ years of Jesus ' entire life that even mentions his name, let alone any Virgin Birth, miracles, preaching to thousands, or any supposed Resurrection. Apparently no citizens of Jerusalem or anywhere else in Judaea, or any of the Historians living through those years, like the famous Philo of Alexandria, thought anything Jesus did or said was worth writing down a few lines about. I think you are going by some stories that a small group of mostly unknown authors composed decades AFTER Jesus was dead and buried, when they were trying to start up another new religion and based it on Jesus and created the more marketable Christ image. It was only then that the people heard about any Virgin Birth and Resurrection claims. And do you know when the Church Leaders finally OFFICIALLY declared Jesus to be the Son of God to end the squabbling over it? That would be 300 years later in 325 AD.
@DustinZilbauer359 жыл бұрын
Nathan Cross In what context is it morally acceptable to discriminate against a person with a disease or handicap? And since you brought up the Jesus persona of your imaginary, split-personality god, you probably should be aware that "Jesus" did say you must HATE and abandon your entire family in order to be his disciple, typical cult mentality. Are you willing to do that?

I think this guy does an incredible job. But to be honest Christian's do A LOT for local communities. I stated this a little further down, but this is how I feel about this. This video is the perspective of one single person with a bad experience. Most Church's do A LOT for their surrounding communities; sure they dont go door-to-door asking people if they can pay their rent. But, most local food drives and out reach programs our ran by local Church groups. I will go as far to say that Christianity makes up 99% compared to all the other combined religions for out reach programs. Unfortunately, Christians can not bare the financial burden of the entire country, but we definitely to far more then most local government and any other group.
@bubbagarza700410 жыл бұрын
You are correct, I think Christians do more than most. However, this isnt the perspective of a single person. Even as Christians we can do more and I mean us all. Myself included. Sadly, we are more concerned about our next I-phone than the homeless and hungry person we passed on the way there. God has brought my family through some things in my life. He always put people in our path to show his love. In that same path were MANY "Christians" and MANY Churches that looked at us as if we were dirt and turned there back. Not a second though was given. Again, it isnt a single incident..-Be Blessed
@stephenlleeds10 жыл бұрын
Bubba Garza The point is that Churches have many local out reach programs to help people. To say Churches don't do their part for society is irresponsible. Obviously there will be incidents; but as a whole the Christian community does a lot.
@dead_philosopher10 жыл бұрын
stephenlleeds I agree with both of you, however, I like what Bubba Garza said. Yes, there are a ton of churches that do a ton of outreach and financial help to people, but the Church being the Body of Christ, one or two Christians walking down the street past a homeless person are included as 'the Church'. When your church gets together for an outreach opportunity, it's easy for one person to help people when the rest of their church members are. But when a Christian is walking down the street alone and sees someone begging for food or warmth, most times the Christian is thinking about other unimportant things, like the newest Samsung Galaxy or iPhone.

I'm a Luciferian (a type of Satanist) and I agree with this, so hard. In my personal opinion the most important part of religion is what the belief makes you, not if some guy actually walked the earth 2000 years ago. As a Christian (what I was raised as) I lived my life like everyone else. Understood there were poor, sickly, and helpless. But like everyone else I just ignored it. But as a Luciferian I have become more generous than ever before. I enjoy being a Luciferian partially because I enjoy being a good person. I would rather have someone be a good person as a Christian than be a bad or apathetic person as a Satanist. We hold different beliefs but we're all in this together. We all get one shot on this earth, we might as well make it count.

Yeshua is love I think he has spoken on repentance. And I wouldn't say he doesn't teach those things because he haven't seen him preach in his actual church. I would only class him as a false christian or false prophet if he taught false doctrine which he hasn't as far as I've seen.
@risk21938 жыл бұрын
Yeshua is love Brother, not teaching something doesn't mean false doctrine and how do we know he's never spoken on those subjects, I'm sure he's spoken on repentance before. Paul didn't teach the law but he was not a false prophet. Jeff himself is a youth pastor that's why he talks about these subjects. It's targeted at teenagers and children. A true Christian isn't hated, we are hated by the outside, secular world, but not within our own communities. A Christian is not supposed to hate another Christian. Jesus mentions hatred in the Sermon on the Mount: “But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment” (Matthew 5:22). The Lord commands that not only should we be reconciled with our brother before we go before the Lord, but also that we do it quickly (Matthew 5:23-26). The act of murder itself was certainly condemned, but hatred is a “heart” sin, and any hateful thought or act is an act of murder in God’s eyes for which justice will be demanded, possibly not in this life but at the judgment. So heinous is the position of hate before God that a man who hates is said to be walking in darkness, as opposed to the light (1 John 2:9, 11). The worst situation is that of a man who continues professing religion but remains at enmity with his brother. The Scriptures declare that such a person is a liar (1 John 4:20), and he may fool men, but not God. How many believers live for years pretending that all is well, putting on a front, only to be found finally wanting because they have harbored enmity (hatred) against a fellow believer? We are called to love each other and be in fellowship with one another. So no brother, a Christian should be loved and accepted by his fellow Christians, we are only ridiculed by the outside people. All credit to the Gotquestions group
@risk21938 жыл бұрын
Yeshua is love Talking about a certain subject does not make him a false Christian. You use the logic that because a preacher isn't preaching a certain message at a specific time, that they are a false prophet? That's nonsense and has nothing to back it up. The message is made for a specific age group to help them, as long as he is teaching the gospel and isn't teaching false doctrine, means he is not a false teacher. All the doctrine he teaches is based on the bible, just because he isn't talking about a specific one that you prefer, doesn't mean he isn't a false prophet. You get it? For example, when someone teaches on the subject of idolatry from a biblical and christian perspective, does that mean he is a false prophet because he isn't preaching about the end of days at this time? No because he can only teach one specific message at a time and teach a message that he specializes in, and no single teaching is more important than another, they're all of important value. For Jeff, he is a youth pastor, so he specializes in subject relevant to teenagers which involves messages of idolatry, relationships, sex, and etc.
@risk21938 жыл бұрын
Yeshua is love It isn't perfect that's for sure. It isn't alien to me, in-fact I've been ridiculed by other who claim to be Christian but have no proper knowledge of the Bible, what I'm saying is what the Bible says. Real Christians embrace each other and help each other, just like the Christians around here are doing. He is a youth pastor, that is what he specializes in as a youth pastor. Doesn't mean he doesn't teach these other messages either. I know, and that's a good point but it doesn't mean Jeff is. He doesn't preach messages that are easily received, he tackles some controversial subjects, just as the ones you have mentioned. Christians will be prosecuted, but they aren't supposed to be prosecuted by their fellow Christian, but I understand your concern
@risk21938 жыл бұрын
Yeshua is love It is mine as well, it is the duty of all Christians, I just find very little proper evidence to prove that he is a false teacher. The core teachings of Christianity was love, Jesus said to his followers there was no greater commandment than loving your neighbor just as you loved yourself. He is showing the true love of Christ by teaching and helping those in need.

TheSilverZodiac devoid of life, water and oxygen? not true bru, we recently discovered water on planet Mars. PLus we have discovered bacteria-like life on planets like Pluto. These discoveries didn't come about from faith, the bible or a zombie jew. They came about from science. If you say that God is a necessary first cause of the universe, then what is God's first cause? If you go on to say that God always has been, and never was created - then why not skip this entire step and just say that the universe always has been and never was created? Bottom line, i have great doubts. And doubt is humble. So even if there is such a thing as God - based on the massive complexity and chaotic universe we live in, with billions of galaxies, I feel pretty certain that this God doesn't give a shit about you. This God couldnt care less about you. You're whole existence is meaningless, and there's no magic voodoo man sitting up in the sky watching and loving you. Thats just ridiculous... BUT! You can still find your own meaning! God is dead, and we have all killed him - No go enjoy your freedom! Knowing that there's no tyrant judging you for who you want to be!

***** You do make a good point I personally began to believe in my youngest years(16-18 I don't remember but i'm currently 20)because My view is without god our world our ENTIRE universe makes no sense, y'know? Like we live and diebut where's the endgame, the eternity. Why isn't there one but if god was real (which he is)then there's meaning in our lives not something insignificant like everybody sees nowadays like how many times someone gets laid or how much money someone makes, or even something like curing the famine in the east these things are important but only on a humanistic scale...Not long term So why does everyone always shut out the obvious answer?
@sarauss11 жыл бұрын
***** calm down... you think your caps-lock will silence me with fear? all i said was, that if God is a cause without cause, why cant the universe be a cause without a cause? "If you believe in the theory of evolution then life holds no meaning for you because you have no moral compass?" Yeah, i dont think so... My morals are pretty strong thank you very much, adn I'd say secular morality is stronger than religious morality, because based on your own criteria, God is the only thing keeping you from lying and stealing. I dont believe in God, and guess what? I do believe it's wrong to steal and lie! Shocker i know....

You are so wise and so passionate, and one day, I hope I can love the Gospel and love spreading my faith and my love of Jesus as much as you do! God has changed my life forever and I am happier and more inspired than I have ever been since I started pursuing a relationship with Jesus! You are so inspiring and amazing! Keep it up, and thank you for opening my eyes!

I appreciate what your doing. Keep giving glory to the most high and feed the people with the word. Remember that we will be accounted for every idle word we say. Seek truth and forgiveness. Love you in christ brother, Amen?

As a single mother and new to "Christianity" more like my beginning of a relationship with God, have questioned everything that you just mentioned about how Christians do just watch and not help when God has blessed them and continues to bless them…Love your vids…God is sure using you...

Thank you for breaking it down, the message has been ignored for a long time. I feel reinergized in my mission to follow the true gospel. You have caused me to do a closer examination of my life (which, by the way, hasnt been easy), but in my darkest hour I was always sent what I needed. Thank you again
