remember what James always says : ARE YOU ALIIIIIIIVEE ARE YOU ALIIIIVVEEE?? YOU ARENT ALIVE UNTIL YOU DIIIEEEEEEE I think he refers to the part - where are we before we are born? We are going back to that place, which means this life is something of a game or a simulation or a learning space or maybe the new agers a correct or even the religious folk (I doubt it very much) So the real question science NEVER asks is - where are we before we are born? They try to scare us with atheism and the repetitive question "where do we go in the afterlife, is there an afterlife"?? The scientists are liars and want us to be afraid of the unknown. SOULS don't and can't die, its a transition

The best thing about Metallica is that every album sounds completely unique when compared to the rest. Megadeth is awesome and I love the band just as much as I love Metallica, but many of their albums sound similar and they sort of blend together. Metallica never released the "same" record twice and they weren't afraid to take risks regardless of whether it would be the popular choice.
@pentagonofpeople8 жыл бұрын
Trevor B. I have the same issue AC/DC. One of their songs will come up on pandora and I'm not sure if I should shout PANAMA, TNT, PROBLEM CHILD, or BACK IN BLACK. Thunderstruck is pretty distinct though.
@trevorbaugh13358 жыл бұрын
pentagonofpeople Yeah haha that's the same reason I have never been big on AC/DC, they have a metric shit ton of music and most of it is practically indistinguishable from the rest.
@cobycouture6808 жыл бұрын
+Trevor B. Well said! They play such a wide variety of music also, so I don't think its possible to "hate" Metallica, they probably have a genre you like.
@MaverickMustaine8 жыл бұрын
+Trevor B. You are right about metallica, but all megadeth albums sound completely different from each other. Megadeth took as many risks as Metallica, listen to Youthanasia/Cryptic Writings/Risk. At the end of the day, new megadeth owns metallica, listen to System has failed/United abominations/Endgame
@trevorbaugh13358 жыл бұрын
Maverick Mustaine They took many new RISKs, pun intended? :) Well I respect your opinion, and it's a perfectly reasonable one--many people prefer 'deth over 'tallica.

I drum in a teenage metal band. Bingeing the big four, digging deeper into like black sabbath, led zeppelin ac/dc. All the way to Sabbaton. What do these bands have in common? They all rock. HARD! I liked the Black Album and Load & Reload though. St Anger was really their only big mess up.
@trinidad172 жыл бұрын
@@ThierryRocksTV Yeah the Black album was good, Load and Reload were fun, but not even close to their previous work. I very much enjoy the more melodic vocals, and better production value overall. But those things are very personal, not only related to taste but also to nostalgia, and how you started enjoying the band. For me Justice is great as it was the album that got me into them in the 90s, but I do understand why people dislike it, although people tend to be overly dramatic sometimes. When it comes to the new stuff, the good thing is Death Magnetic was not a rehash of the old formula but was the result of separating the good from the bad from the darker years while keeping part of what they had in the earlier days, innovative without throwing the baby with the bathwater.

00:00 The Unforgiven I The Unforgiven [Hetfield / Ulrich / Hammet] New blood joins this earth, And quickly he's subdued. Through constant pained disgrace The young boy learns their rules. With time the child draws in. This whipping boy done wrong. Deprived of all his thoughts The young man struggles on and on. He's known a vow unto his own, That never from this day His will they'll take away. What I've felt, What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown. Never be. Never see. Won't see what might have been. What I've felt, What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown. Never free. Never me. So I dub thee unforgiven. They dedicate their lives To running all of his. He tries to please them all - This bitter man he is. Throughout his life the same - He's battled constantly. This fight he cannot win - A tired man they see no longer cares. The old man then prepares To die regretfully - That old man here is me. What I've felt, What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown. Never be. Never see. Won't see what might have been. What I've felt, What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown. Never free. Never me. So I dub thee unforgiven. [Solo] What I've felt, What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown. Never be. Never see. Won't see what might have been. Oh 13:04 The Unforgiven III The Unforgiven III How could he know this new dawn's light Would change his life forever? Set sail to sea but pulled off course By the light of golden treasure Was he the one causing pain With his careless dreaming? Been afraid, always afraid Of the things he's feeling He could just be gone He would just sail on He'll just sail on [Chorus:] How can I be lost If I've got nowhere to go? Searched for seas of gold How come it's got so cold? How can I be lost? In remembrance I relive How can I blame you When it's me I can't forgive? These days drift on inside a fog It's thick and suffocating This sinking life outside its hell Inside intoxicating He's run aground like his life Water's much too shallow Slipping fast down with the ship Fading in the shadows now Now a castaway They've all gone away. They've gone away. [Chorus] Forgive me, forgive me not Forgive me, forgive me not Forgive me, forgive me not Forgive me, forgive me, Why can't I forgive me? Set sail to sea but pulled off course By the light of golden treasure How could he know this new dawn's light Would change his life forever? [Chorus]

All three Unfrgivens were all great, mostly lyrically i think, the words just run deep... but the music and the solos, they run deep too.

This works great listening to it as a sort of trilogy, with the same general theme throughout the entire thing and they feel like an overlapping story, even though they can be listened to separately. All three are great songs as well!

The First one is TOO perfect. The way it sounds like music from a Western playing off the name of the SONG. The lyrics are GREAT. The chorus melody is the BEST out of the three, and one of Kirks best SOLOS ever.

Metallica is Led Zeppelin 2.0 and the Unforgiven Trilogy is their Stairway to Heaven. Just gorgeous and so very brilliant.
@MultiChangeTheWorld9 жыл бұрын
Not even close , i like this dont get me wrong but you cant compare it to Stairway which is one of the music biggest accomplishment ever ! This "fades to black" in comparison :)

David Jackson that's a reach dude. How bout Metallica is Metallica and Led Zeppelin is Led Zeppelin. Unforgiven is great but its not a Stairway to Heaven.
@robertqueen46578 жыл бұрын
David Jackson Not even close. Don't get me wrong, Metallica is one of my favorites, but they're both completely different styles. As great as The Unforgiven Trilogy is, I think Fade To Black and One are their best songs.
@pentagonofpeople8 жыл бұрын
David Jackson I'd say that One or And Justice for All would be more comparable, though I wouldn't be comparing metallica to led zeppelin in the first place.

New blood joins this Earth And quickly he's subdued Through constant pained disgrace The young boy learns their rules With time the child draws in This whipping boy done wrong Deprived of all his thoughts The young man struggles on and on, he's known Ooh, a vow unto his own That never from this day His will they'll take away What I've felt What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never be Never see Won't see what might have been What I've felt What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never free Never me So I dub thee unforgiven They dedicate their lives To running all of his He tries to please them all This bitter man he is Throughout his life the same He's battled constantly This fight he cannot win A tired man they see no longer cares The old man then prepares To die regretfully That old man here is me What I've felt What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never be Never see Won't see what might have been What I've felt What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never free Never me So I dub thee unforgiven What I've felt What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never be Never see Won't see what might have been What I've felt What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never free Never me So I dub thee unforgiven Oh, oh, oh Never free Never me So I dub thee unforgiven You labeled me I'll label you So I dub thee unforgiven Never free Never me So I dub thee unforgiven You labeled me I'll label you So I dub thee unforgiven Never free Never me So I dub thee unforgiven
