Oh crap I just realized the last minute thing I recorded about doodman didn't make it in the video, damn it. Basically, TL;DR Doodman supposedly left his wife and kids and is now apparently living a secluded life with one of the dolls, he dropped off the earth. I recorded a 2 sentence joke and forgot to put it in the final video. That's what I get for crunching and not double checking. To make up for it, here's the line read in vocaroo form. vocaroo.com/18xznuDkmb6o

blank room soup was actually basically confirmed. It was just a stunt by the guy who owned the costumes and when confronted with it he acted like they were stolen, they weren't actually stolen and he orchestrated all of it to artificially prop up his name.

@@b00g3rs21 I remember there was a video floating around that confirmed it as a hoax, but I think one of the things that was pointed as evidence was the fact that he did this kind of stunt before where he faked a creepy thing for publicity, but it was one that specifically tied back to him. And I think another bit of it was that something he said contradicted what we know actually happened which led to it being a stunt rather than a real thing. Edit: I searched around and apparently the guy eating the soup is confirmed to have connections with the ray guy.

tbh they were already scary back then, hence why the Blair Witch movie got so successful, and videos of footage with aliens and scary creatures on the early internet were also always very low quality, for that time's standards, so nowadays some of these stuff are almost unwatchable because you can't see shit on a bigger screen, and with the new KZbin buffers and all

@@ImTheGuy what about the one where Bob and barb never met? Or actually sat down and looked at the advancements on autism awareness over the course of 40 years and sent him to school… This is a whole ass tangent but I think Bob and barb being loving parents was part of Chris’s downfall. There are signs that they were quite loving and caring. Just misguided and ignorant. Barb for sure has her downsides don’t get me wrong. But statements from Chris like “be sure to hug autistic kids a lot, even if they don’t want you to” probably a case of misguided love from them. They didn’t sent chris to get proper care because of how special needs kids were treated when they were younger and they didn’t want chris to go through that. Barb assaulted a man for chris… and chris not only did what he did to her, but has been talking shit about barb since he got out,

The late 2000s to early 2010s were a gold mine for weird and creepy youtube content. If the video came out around 2008-2012 and had an unintentionally creepy vibe, then it was bound to unnerve the living shit outta people.
@Citrusautomaton
@Citrusautomaton 7 ай бұрын
A lot of the reason for that vibe was due to KZbin being far more genuine back then. If someone was talking about how they were sexually attracted to corpses, you can bet they were telling the truth.💀
@SwaggyG_2102
@SwaggyG_2102 7 ай бұрын
@@Citrusautomaton Another reason as to why these older videos were so unnerving was due to the low production quality that a majority of them had back then. Take the cake making bit from the second segment, for example. The fact that it was recorded on a VHS camera makes all the videos seem like they were meant to be on a VHS tape that was found in a dusty box inside of an old attic.

People weren't chronically afraid of getting cancelled back then and that was around the time of the Internet when it was basically the wild west. People posted ANYTHING and didn't rly care if many people saw unlike today where it's done for PRIMARILY clout. So, part of what adds to the fear factor is the feeling like you're just watching someone behave naturally everything wasn't ironic or for trolls back then (most of it anyways)

My family actually knew the castle cake guys brother irl and I've met the castle cake guy irl at a family event one time, so it was so surreal to see him on this video, I had no idea this castle cake video exists until I saw this. The castle cake guys brother has a catering business called dishes to delight. If you search that on google on the images you can see a picture of his brother and they do look identical. Believe it or not but the castle cake guy irl is a bit strange like he's on the spectrum but harmless honestly, his brother that owns the business is something else I won't say more then that but put it this way he's a complete weirdo, which is why my family cut ties. I've only met the castle cake guy once many years ago now when I was like 15 (28 now) my family don't associate with any of them no more but I can 100% say for certain that the guy I met all them years ago is castlecake guy. One KZbin rabbit hole I'll never forget going down was looking up the puppy monkey baby commercial only to be greeted with an alarming amount of baby pet monkey videos, where the animals are dressed in human clothes and fed baby food. In some videos in the background, there's clearly tiny cages and no adult monkeys around, suggesting these animals were grabbed from the wild and dressed up for views. The worst part is usually the comments, which outright throw hate at the animals and want to see them tortured and killed. Weirder still is looking at the channels that comment this stuff they have playlists full of baby monkeys being hurt, screaming, being dropped from trees, and more insane borderline animal torture that KZbin fully allows with 2, 30 sec. ads on their site. Honestly baffles me that for a site so concerned with appearing advertiser friendly, it can't keep any of its own standards in check for the life of it.

Wrestling fan here. What's crazy is that the BDF Network is still putting out videos about pro wrestling to this day and still riding the waves of the once popular Anti-Smark trend that has since faded into obscurity and aging like milk due to the edgy nature of it. It turns out the guy behind both the Peckcella and Bubba characters is also responsible for the Billy Bob Tanley character, which has garnered a cult following separate from this weird anti-smark cinematic universe that was created. There's actually a ton more characters that this guy (and a couple of his friends) plays that are all involved in a weird cross-channel wrestling style "storyline". I haven't watched his content in years because I grew out of that phase, but he was certainly fascinating to talk about.

I didn't realize BBT made that many characters, I just found him as a guy who watched YTPs. I knew his weird Bubba character from that. I haven't really watched him for a while though, as he just started getting really miserable/negative, while at the start he seemed to really like what he was doing. Billy Bob Tanley is honestly probably a character himself made by that guy, or an exaggerated version of himself. This Peckcella character is definitely Otis.

It seems like you didnt do much looking into most of these, especially doodman. The guy is a very doccumented individual whos been on the internet for quite a while. His first major appearance was at a 4chan battle station thread where he single handenly scared the shit out of the entire board with his lunatic work. There are actual photos of him with the dolls and his family, and they do NOT look happy at all, in fact they later divorced and he went on a trip with his dolls for who knows how long.

I've heard it's actually quite common in a few European countries' culture to preserve the corpse as the guy has done, cleaning the coffin and all that. Kissing deceased family members (even on the lips) in their casket is also more normalized as a sign of depature, tho most kiss the individual during the funeral istead of decades after their burial (tbf he was born years after their death). Not the safest thing to do no matter the sanitary precaution in that specific situation, me still think.

So the only thing here that got me disturbed was the brief clip of the “Aliens recreating a children’s cartoon”. I tried to figure out why I was scared by it and I think I figured it out. The clip features weird looking visuals, loud noises and flashing lights. It’s sensory overload. My mind had nothing to do but go into fight or flight mode. Once one of those aspects was taken away, muting the video, hiding the screen or pausing just to look at it, it stopped being frightening to me. (Ok it’s still a little freaky but not anxiety inducing levels of frightening)
