this is the moment i liked lee euijin so much, look at how positive he is, always be patience. he was kicked out from BTS team but he is still smiling, he helped his heartbeat’s teams. from start, he never be greedy to be center, you could see how little his parts but he still moving around to fill dancing formations even it would be tired.

i was SO excited when i saw that it was one of the choices and i was seriously so surprised to have seen only one person pick the song. lena true, I was kinda surprised that only 1 person chose to do that song, Shinhwa is one of the pioneer kpop groups so I thought they would be ecstatic to make a cover of it, seems like they wanted to do covers of the more popular groups' like BTS and EXo though.. oh well, it's a competition so I'm pretty sure those guys who didn't choose Perfect Man at first will still try their best to make a great cover of it. We'll see.

No, it's because the ones who didn't pick Perfect Man at first, and One Jun was the only one there, was because they don't know the song since most of them were still 2-10 years old to know. One Jun was the only one who was already in 7th grade when the song was released. But Perfect Man is also very popular too, it may not be the most popular in this century, but it was hit #1 on a lot of music charts. And I love Shinhwa

BTS is one of the very very rare groups where more than half of group is made up of baritones (Taeyhyung and everyone in the rap line). Even their songs are pitched a little bit lower. If you ever wondered why their songs sounded so heavy and charismatic, it's because they really are. The group you have performing Fire here has mostly high lyric tenors singing, that's why it sounds lighter than normal. It's not bad, but they really had to sing from their gut to make it work.

I get what Rain mean, I mean FIRE is agressive, has raspiness, and literally spitting fire. FIRE and most of BTS songs are like chants. Plus it's not only how to deliver the song, but who are you delivering the song to. That's what makes the original and the meaning of FIRE by BTS stand out. Also it's not just about the vocals and great choreography, but passion, stage presence, and feel the emotion of the song. Plus making the song fit their style would be a nice way to alter the difference in tones they have. It can show a side of them that's unique that sets them apart from the original performance, also their presence would be stronger. But they did well. Their voices combined well during the chant and the choreo was on point. 👌 BTW, this make me want to watch Rain's reaction to BTS performances, he's so thorough and understands. Of course he's been in the industry for so long, but those critiques he made. 👏👏👏

BTS' FIRE 🔥 is one of my favorites. Rain was actually so on point there. Fire is a heavy song, not just on its choreography, vocals, performance but most of all, the emotion and message it sends out. You have to act really cocky and intimidating while emphasizing the deep emotions to pull this off unless if you're BTS itself. The performance was okay, it was good but not that great. I knew it wouldn't exceed BTS' but I was hoping for something you'll awe at, at the very least. It could definitely be better, if they added a few more days of practice, definitely will be better.

Coming back to rewatch its always sad how no one wanted to do Perfect Man, but I guess really a lot of it solely comes down to the song. It does suck to think about, but popular songs will always win because fans like it when their favs songs are covered. I say this as someone guilty of this too, there is always going to be a bias to your favorites songs being covered and that's why the people were so desperate to get into the popular songs even if they are suited more to another. Perfect Man is an iconic song and I love it, but it stood no chance against BTS and EXO in terms of simply getting hype from fans similar to how Her or Julliete couldn't compete.
