Nice too see someone keeping it simple and letting the watch do more of the talking..drives me crazy how some channels go on about how cosmic and how the uniqueness of this time peace's instrumental value's grab hold of the unknown caliber's fluctuating dimension's which are next too none bla bla bla.. tnx again 👍

Thank you. I inherited my polerouter from my dad. And it’s something that I will always remember him by.. Thanks for the research.

I've always thought that index ring on these looked like the old Rolex engine-turned bezels. I'd be interested to know if there was some type of correlation. Cool vid guys

Maybe I have thought the same thing too,,, very similar but also different in its own way to I think... Tudor did something almost exactly the same. Look up the Tudor Tuxedo Watch!

Some older Omega Constellations can also "quickset" the date in a similar fashion.

Owned this watch for 2 years before discovering the "quickset date" feature 😩

I went to the mall in Miami Florida one day and the swatch worker came up to me and said, "Omg is that a Universal Geneve Polerouter?!" I took it off my wrist showed it to him and he was enamored, giddy, and humble: it's literally the perfect piece. His eyes lit up: "It's so heavy, it is my dream to get one one day." It seems like it's small but in 18k solid yellow gold and with its light reflectively it's so prominent in looks on the wrist. Wearability-wise it's was one of the thinnest in the 60s. You'll forgot it's on wrist. IT'S THAT COMFORTABLE. I have a Rolex DJ41, 18k Vacheron Constantin (worth about $15k) and a few Tudors. It's that good. I'll never sell mine. The Universal Geneve Polerouter Date is one of the best dials in the industry. Buy one now on this little watch price dip and you'll have a good piece for life to pass to your son or daughter.

One of the nicest watch I had. Not that cheap, there already cost 20000$• I just sold mine because it was gold cap and I would like to find on in steel. Also my black dial was so perfect I think it was repainted and I would prefer to have an original dial.
