I loved this chapter. The respect on luffy’s name by the marines and cipher pol, was simply goosebumps to hear. But at the same time showed us luffy is not infallible, in gear 5 it looked like he was overconfident and playing with his food, and by lucci going for sentomaru’s throat punishes that and helps even the odds. Beautifully done by oda and a clever way to raise the stakes.

What if this is how Im sama is revealed. And it will be done with the Seraphims. The seraphims get free from the control/orders from even the Gorosei themselves. But when they gain will /consciousness..suddenly they are under control again., And there's no retaliation from the seraphims. Then out of nowhere we actually see what Im sama looks like. Having the power to suppress freedom greatly. Also a good symbolic introduction to the god ruling the world(Im) and being able to control the angels(the seraphims)

I just thought about it. If DF are the manifestation of desires, what does that mean for Blackbeard who has two fruits!? Does he have so much desire that he was able to eat two fruits? Maybe the key to beating Blackbeard is Luffy balancing his Desires (his Nika DF) and Will (Haki). Blackbeards would lose since he relies too much on his desires
