Stop hoping and start knowing that good things CAN happen to you,; the issue lies within your inability to leave behind the story, the narrative that nothing good ever happens to you-- that is why you find your reality continues to show you, that no thing good ever happens to you; because that's what you keep re iterating. You must begin to allow yourself to simply not embody that perspective of "oh man no thing good ever comes" or every time an inconvenience happens you need to stop going "see I knew something bad would happen, why does everything always not work for me" instead, try this exercise, everytime an inconvenience happens even if you say it ironically, or bitterly, say "I know good things are always happening for me" "I'm choosing to not pay any mind to this event" "I don't care that this happened, it will not prevent me from having the best day I can" "Im grateful for what I have but I know greater things also await me" ,it might feel silly but just be consistent. Keep doing it and doing it, because out of a 50/50 wouldn't you want to choose the better 50? So choose. Choose to have the better 50, choose to feel good and even if you don't feel good, choose to know the feeling will pass, and decide to feel your feelings and frustrations when they come up, but allow them to pass as well, do not dwell on that which makes you feel out of "control." It is all but just an illusion, and it will pass.

Give all glory to the one true God. God can give us everything, and he can take it all away in an instance. When God allowed Lucifer to test Jobs' loyalty to God, Job lost everything. Job never denounced God and, in the end, was blessed with even more than he originally had. Take the blessings from the one who truly has our best interest. Not from the spirit that hates us. Which if you don't know is lucifer and his army.
