League of legends' viewer count was actually higher than most noticeable tournaments such as NBA. @@777osbaldo1 we have universities with eSports teams... Not a university with a fully dedicated eSports program (you still have to be attending college for other reasons to join an eSports team from them)

@@smitegrinder3854 but that is the same thing with college football and basketball programs in the U.S. Players have to attend classes to play for the team. But most of the athletes take BS classes and focus on their sport. In america we don't have university programs that allow people to join without being students. That is why they hand out scholarships to attract athletes.

"THANKS TO EMPIRES REMARKABLE RESILIENCE" as somebody who actually watched the event that was EG thriwing 4 rds in a row, not empire winning them. You can go watch it for yourself. It was not as much empire winning as eg throwing it away.

Plus you can't deny empire the credit, they gave flawless performance in the last couple rounds

@@critikal201 i think they got frustrated with how they threw that win away. They had it in the bag then got too ahead of themselves and threw it away. And we can deny empire the credit as that map went down hill after 2 thrown rounds in a row especially after NVK got the single most effective runout in siege history getting 3 kills.
