Then it is assumed that light slows down because of a rebound or reflection.Dust particles in space slow light down so calculating the proper distant to stars might not be as easy as it seems.

1 Refactive Index of Light (n) = [(Speed-of-Light In Vacuum) / (Phase Velocity)]. 2 Light passing through Gross Matter (atmosphere), other than a perfect superfluid vacuum such as outer-space, will incur a certain Refractive Index. 3 MIT built a 1 Trillion Frames-per-Second (FPS) camera to "measure" the one-way-speed-of-light. This turned out to be a failure. Yes, the propagation of light from Point-A to Point-B was in fact 'tracked'. But, if the light can already be 'seen', then it has already incured two-way reflection & refraction across its propagation-medium ("diameter of light beam"). 4 Including what you mentioned, that Light is not proprgating through a "perfect vacuum": the Gross Matter (atmosphere) itself is acticulating inherent reflection & refraction, simultaneously. 5 More than likely, the 'one-way-speed-of-light' is either 'Unknowable' or 'Non-Existent'. 6 Cautiously using the phrase 'Non-Existent'. Just because we haven't figured-it-out, doesn't mean it "doesn't exist".

@@markscythian7179 I forget where I heard this, but they said that light could be instantaneous. If that were the case then how can we measure the time is takes for light to get from the Sun, that is, 'if' we can really know the speed. The Sun was up and running before mankind so are we just guessing since we were not here to see it all happen.

Just as matter & energy cannot be "created" or "destroyed", neither are all things "created" or "destroyed", across infinite time-lines or infinite probabilities. Therefore, Information cannot be "created" or "destroyed" either. 2 There is no "beginning" or "end". One's limited biological/physical senses posit error-concepts such as "beginning" and "end", OR "created" and "destroyed" OR "birth" and "death". None of these are locally real. 3 Matter as a derivative of Light & Magnetism, in-entanglement, below the "speed-of-light". Spirituality & Quantum Mechanics are more closely related compared to Classical Mechanics (particle physics). 4 Atoms are 99.9999% empty-space (energy = proton-input, electron-output= waveform/frequency), and 0.0001% "physical matter" (matter = neutron = entanglement of proton/electron = ground-state = "trend-line-resonance of sine-wave-frequency"). 5 Everything is information & energy, their "error" is what we percieve as 'physical reality'. Nothing more than electrical signals occuring within our brains, encased within 'darkness'. 6 The Human Brain: A Quantum Computer converting information & energy into physical matter. A Quantum Chemical Computer. For which ideas and thoughts of Consiousness (Light-Body merged with Physical Body) convert information & energy (having no mass) to their frequency-equivalent chemicals/particles/matter (entanglement = particle = neutron-ground-state). 7 Thought/Consciousness/Belief/Knowledge/World-View dictate one's physical reality. No two persons' "realities" are identical. One person has no clue how to "help" another person. All solutions come "from within". This is where "Biological Light", or Bio-Luminescence or Bio-Photons play their role in converting ideas into physical particles/chemicals. Organically, this is probably 'instantaneous'. 8 Instantaneous reaction or perception probably renders the concept of the "Speed-of-Light" as a misnomer. Case in point: The Human Body as a holistic bio-photonic-device, functions of instantaneous quantum non-locality. 9 For example, "testing" parts of the Human Body by taking biological samples, this requires killing the bioogical samples, and making them into Labratory Artifacts. For another person's subjective testing-methods or belief system to interpret. This is where one's belief-system, or worldview, or knowledge, or perception(s) dictates information, thus dictating energy, and therefore the material/physical outcome(s). 10 However, it was the 'Belief System' itself which dictated the actual 'Health Outcomes' (Placebo vs. Nocebo), NOT the actual testing, treatment, or lack-of-treatment. Understanding Schrodinger's Causality, Heinsenberg Uncertainty Principle, and the Einstein-Rosen-Bridge in Quantum Mechanics are KEY! 11 Light & Magnetism are the substrates of ALL information, matter, and energy, distributed across infinite time-lines (probabilities, possibilities, decisions), for which are ALL existing simultaneously. "Bright Idea" = Light. 12 Light holds the potential to make any idea, belief system, worldview, and knowledge into physical-reality, or particle, or chemical, or mass. Einstein-Rosen-Bridge ===> E = mc^2. At best, the concept of the "Speed-of-Light" is a 'Convention', and not an actuality. A Convention of 'Special Relativity'. 13 'The Black Sun': The Sun's Neutrino Emissions are probably instantaneous 'information', grounding into Photons (Light) within Gross Matter (Earth's atmosphere). Sunlight is not visible within outer space (Neutrino Emissions only). Neutrino Emissions grounding through Gross Matter (Earth's atmosphere) converts the Sun's Neutrino Emissions into Photons (Light). 14 We are perceiving the 'after-effect' of information converted to energy, and then into matter (Informatics + Einstein Rosen-Bridge). Our five senses are very limited or primitive compared to vast information-spectrum (actuality vs. reality) outside of Human Biological Perception. 15 Hence, we use Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry to detect vast datasets outside of our biological/physical perception. Classical & Quantum Mathematics unlocks undiscovered mysteries to infinity. Science is NOTHING without Mathematics. 16 Reminder: Sunlight is NOT visible in outer-space. In outer-space, the Sun's Neutrino Emissions have no Gross Matter to ground across and convert into Photons (Light). The "Black Sun". Only within Earth's atmosphere are the Sun's Neutrino Emissions grounded across into what we perceive as "Light" (Photons = Wave-Particle-Duality). 17 Thinking in terms of "beginning" and "end" is an exercise in erroneous-perception. There is no creation or destruction. There is no birth or death. There is no start or finish. We, like everything else JUST ARE. If this Cosmology is understood, then Quantum Mechanics becomes easier to understand. As for what WE THINK WE HAVE EXPERIENCED, is (probably) just Information playing out into energy & matter. None of it is locally real. This is the universally-accepted Convention in Quantum Physics, on a global level by every Quantum Physicist as of 2021 to the Present. 18 Just as you have stated, Light itself is most likely an Instantaneous Medium. For which Human Perception of Light occurs as Neutrinos ground into Photons. @@markscythian7179 The fact that a strong magnetic field can bend light is interesting. Was Einstein, the one to discover that? What if all light is entangled? Then the entire universe is connected. Would that make light instantaneous. It would not need to travel, but just appear from one side of the universe to the other side. What if all spirituality is entangled? Then can the knowledge of everyone can be accessed? Every thought is connected to God.

​@@markstephens8423 Hi Mark Stephens! Strong gravitational fields (such as Black Holes) can distort/bend Light, Magnetism, and Time-Space. Gravity is the 'Curvature of TIme-Space'. The end-point of a Black Hole is a Star or a 'White Hole'. We're all part of GOD simultaneously-existing across infinite time-lines. Probably interconnected by Plasma: The Fourth State of Matter, moving at the "speed-of-light". Matter, Energy, and Information cannot be created or destroyed, but only changed in form. Birth and Death do not exist. I think what we're "experiencing" is a 'Bio-Electric-Simulation'. Most Quantum Physicists have reached a similar conclusion too. Atoms are 99.99999% empty-space or concentrated energy in-entanglement. What the 'Observer' observes is NOT the same as what the 'Experiencer' experiences. We all "could have" died on another time-line and instantly moved-on into another time-line, for which almost everything (quantum information) is identical, except that we didn't die (Schrodinger's Causality and his Cat). Seamless in continuity. Other than Near-Death-Experiences (NDEs'), there are also Near-Catastrophic-Events (NCEs'). Such as a motorist "some how" escaping certain death, despite being milli-seconds away from a lethal head-on collision (small car vs. semi-truck). "Impossible" outcome: semi-truck just disappeared, roadway normal and safe, as if the semi-truck was never there. Followed by driving to work, clocking-in, BUT, all personalities at work are completely different, a house that was never there now is, favorite black jacket is now blue, same company but different job description. Millions of NDEs' and NCE's have been documented, now, in the 'Information-Age'. The Earth is splitting into multiple time-lines as well. 'Mandela Effect'. How much of this has to do with CERN is debatable. GOD'S CREATION instantly and COMPLETELY established outside of time-space: all time-lines, all events, all information, all matter, all energy, across infinite-probabilities. We do not really "create" or, "invent" or, "destroy" anything. We just discover or partake these through intent, focus and Re-Search rather than "Search".
