Funny! When i got recruited for the now defunct football team, I had sent my application in for acceptance and i had told the coach that I hadn't heard anything back. He told me, "I personally called admissions and you are good." A couple weeks later, my application was return to sender for lack of postage. LOL My mother loved the coach, especially when he showed up on my doorstep on Christmas Day, so i ended up attending. Loved my time there. Even was manager/practice player on the basketball team in 2001-02.

@@westonmeyer3110 I thought Gonzaga would finally do it after last years lost. As a Terps fan, I cant stand the ACC because of their unfair homecourt advantage every year in NC. But this year, I wouldnt mind seeing Hubert Davis win. I use to root for him & the Knicks while living in NYC in the 90's. Terps are in the Big10 now with a new coach for 2023. GL to the elite 8 especially the Peacocks. March Madness indeed!

@@mrright1716 they didn't.... we went to overtime.. they undersized however they are well coached. No matter what happens I believe this toury is a setup no matter what happens today. It looks like they are either going to make it all the way and lose to Duke (which I called when coach K said he was going to retire they are going to let him win one more b/c the NCAA suck Dukes balls) or they (the NCAA) are going to make a UNC v DUKE natty champ game which no lie would be epic but if you have watched college BB at all you know that none of these teams should have made it this far. Also Inwon't admit it b/c lile every other UK and Perdue we are salty as fuck about this no name team beating us flash in a pan. However of you have seen any of my other comments on here or Twitter I would take their coach in a heart beat. He is young and could you imagine what kimd of recruiting he could do at UK with that name? Omg sky's the limit give thay man Cals salary for 2 years and if he proves he can do the same thing then lifetime him shit.

This reminds me of Oral Roberts Basketball. Last year, Oral Roberts were a 15th seed and beat Florida and 2 seed Ohio State, then collapsed vs 3 seed Arkansas in the Sweet 16. FGCU we’re on a roll and made it to the Sweet 16, then took on 3 seed Florida which they lost too by a lot. I think St Peters will drag this game v Purdue in OT, but ultimately lose by a go ahead 3 and 2 FT’s. Purdue has very good players, mainly Ivey to carry them and because of their great D for St Peters, it should be close and pretty defensive. However, St Peters are overhyped and because of the strength of Purdue, St Peters will have the same fate as Oral Roberts. Be very close to winning, then blow a lead, and lose by heartbreak, for ST Peters, it’ll be in OT by a 3 and FT’s. St Peters moved on to the Sweet 16 and will lose in the Sweet 16.

as an NJ native who went to St.Joes Uni in Philly i can 10000% gurantee St.Peter's will get more out of this than any PR they couldve done themselves outside of sports...don't think its a real thing? *i coulda gone to rutgers and saved hella cash in state etc but instead went to St.Joes in philly (out of state, FOUR times the price) and tbh i applied the year after their undefeated season/jameer nelson on the cover of sports illustrated etc - had i not heard of them thru that i never wouldve applied...prob why my only other app was to UConn lol (this was 2005/6) - but for st.joes it was obv HUGE for a school for under 4,000 students with a gym barely bigger than Saint Peters to get that boost, enjoy it St.Peters - repping the DIRTY JERZ*
