@@DA-db9bi I've seen them all and i'm probably older than you, so shut your stupid mouth. Laudrup was also god tier. But i think giving the same performance in today's complex, fast and enduring football environment, it is just something else. Zidane had excellent technique, but he only had a few good years. Iniesta and Xavi were also exceptional players, but we only saw them in a system which was tailored exactly for their virtues (and Messi's). It is not that hard to control the game and have good vision when your team has 75-80 percent ball control. Of course, they contributed to this performance, but for example Xavi wouldn't have been that level in another style or environment. These things do not matter for Modric, he performances with every coach, in every style, at all matches. (Also in the Premier League in a weaker team.) That is the difference.

Modric is like no other You could say he is like a machine however he has no malfunctions. You could say he is one of our god's gifts for us all, yet not all of us award him with the recognition he deserves. In my words, he is more complete than the word 'Perfect'. His football is divine. Luka can not be described in words, although I will still try to compliment him, how he Tackles with one and a half hearts, Passes with 120 percent precision, Shoots with amazingly beautiful strikes, Runs with wise and thoughtful strides, Dribbles with elegant and marvelous movement and always plays his heart into every second that he stand on this earth's surface. His consistency is blindfolding as you never see any amazing 'Modric magic moments', as he is always magical, every zeptosecond, and that is why he is taken for granted. Maybe if he was imperfect he would get more recognition as then he would get bursts of brilliance that everyone stares at. Never a millimeter off perfect. He is a gift like no other, the perfect player, a supernova from another universe Thank you for everything you have ever done and I will miss the day when you will retire and never set foot onto what you make a luscious and beautiful place to spectate. Luka Modric, the Croatian Legend. Just beautiful.

Modric is the midfielder with the most successful dribbles since 2009...Modric have 1222 dribbles/845 successful dribbles (69%) and Iniesta have 1178 dribbles/747 successful dribbles (63%) + Modric also was playing in Premier League for 5 years (much competetive and stronger league than La Liga especially back than) but people would still say that Iniesta is better dribbler cause they prefer Iniesta...If Modric was playing in Spain with Xavi, Busquets, Villa, Torres, Ramos, Fabregas, Xabi Alonso, Alba, Silva, Mata...He would also winning Euros and World Cup trophies but question is would Iniesta achieved in Croatia all thoose what Modric did?!

Hes been a baller since his Tottenham days. That headline from Barca media that said he was the biggest flop of the season when he was bought has aged like milk. He has the tenacity and stamina of the modern premier league player but all the technical ability and intelligence of a la Liga player. Imo top 5 midfielders of all time if not the best.

I am from Croatia and believe me, he's been a baller ever since he started playing senior football, probably even before... He was smashing competition at NK Zrinjski and he was the best player of the Bosnian league at the age of 17... No matter what league was it, he was THE BEST PLAYER of the league at that young age... Later at Dinamo Zagreb he was toying with everybody.... The following spells with Tottenham and Real doesn't need an explanation, everybody knows those chapters of his magnificent career .... I'm sorry that people don't know what a class player he has always been. He's been baller from the Dinamo days Premier league put him on eye, he was the same class in Dinamo in early 20. If you really want to go with purely trophies Dani Alves has more than double the amount of titles (43) than Modric (21). Does that make him a better player than Luka? No. And I'm sorry I comitted a crime by having the opinion ro put Modric third. What i will say that ihis combination of physical condition and consistent performance level at 37 is unlike anyone I've ever seen Moreover because the level of a midfielder usually drops at 34, 35 at the most. You won't believe what I'll say now but I love seeing Modric play and have massive respect for him.
