Darkside is one of the most cool characters of the entire series, but sadly they trade Mr. Ash for Dollface, she's not bad, but Mr. Ash has better dark background plot for a Big Black Truck.

Back when I was the kid. The idea of The Devil or Primeval Nature driving a jet black Peterbilt (Or Mack Titan) was the baddest thing my little brain laid upon. Then Dollface came and Mr Ash never returned. :(

1:16 Are you sure that Granny Dread was in Twisted Metal 2? I can only remember her driving Hammerhead in TM3, and I can't remember Darkside even being in TM2.

It was supposed to be the driver of Darkside in Twisted Metal 2 but they decided to not put Darkside in the game and replace it with Minion as the midway boss.

in TM 1995 he had a bad special attack( in TM3 they fixed this and he became the most kult character. I love DarkSide with Mr Ash

The TM2 team also didn't have time to put Darkside in along with a story :(. Good to see such a staple character return (i like their design in TM3, but the camera does bulky vehicles no favours).

My favorite boss in TM3, badass truck, great handling, good acceleration, and great special weapon, his special weapon may not good against small vehicles but you just need to work on your aim that's all.

TM1 ( semi horn blasting ) And TM3 ( freeze torch ) TM4 was my staple besides having TM1 to start … I enjoyed Sweetooth more in TM4 because of how hilarious Sweetooths special is when you activate unlimited ammo/special cheat … I remember seeing people getting thrown around the map from the henchmen !!!! I do like TM3 Sweetooth too when you detonate the flaming head !!!

6:30 I mean, it still could have been for testing purposes to give him the level codes but still not intend for him to be playable. Or just pure dummy code as you later found out going to London. Also it seems this early build had a bit harder normal. But honestly as a little kid I use to adore Darkside and would always look longingly at those Gameshark codes that promised to let me use him. But seeing him in action, with how weak his armour is. Which is weird; especially with tight turning, as that's so not like how other Darksides are. And how pretty much his special is only useful for the free freeze. So disappointing BTW I think the Granny Dark idea was only for the completely scrapped TM2 Darkside, and Calypso says "HE'S out for blood".

As a kid I played on ps1 and remember getting first person cockpit camera on darksides character. After that day I could never toggle it again. 😢 Twisted Metal 2 on ps1. I never played 3 it was very unappealing.

Do you use invisible in the game? This game don't have shield, so use invisible often. You have a higher chance of dying if you don't use invisible, if you have 2 or more than 2 opponents coming after you, then use invisible so the opponents will attack each others instead of you.

Primeval I get why he's locked behind a gameshark code, final boss, op as anything. But Darkside? After seeing this I'm almost convinced if he didn't have a model you'd face Sweet Tooth as the Washington boss instead. He seems so unfinished.
