I still cannot forget watching gameplay of this when I was younger. Under the covers at night wanting to look away from the screen but still curious. Never played it myself but just watching it still scares me a bit. The setting feels familiar, it's a very real looking and feeling place. Combine that with the randomness of events and that you are helpless at all times and you get something that makes me wanting to keep the lights on. Great Breakdown, but if you want to talk about Resident Evil I stilll get a chuckle out of the marketing for Resindent Evil Village. Putting the Vampire Lady front and center and then going viral for it with everone being thirsty as heck.

It was one of the first things I downloaded on my ps4 and took me several sittings just to try and get through it. So freaky! I also watched tons of other people playing it and getting scare, good times! Yeah they definitely knew what they were doing with Village! The thirst was strong with the internet that day!

I'm still heartbroken over the cancellation. But here's hoping Hideo Kojima's OD can fill the void!

I only played one of the fanmade PC remakes of the Playable Teaser and it was still by far the scariest piece of horror media that I had ever experienced. It scared me so bad that I was physically shaking in fear by the end.p! I can’t even imagine what the full game would have been like

Yeah some of those fan made remakes were really good and scary! I remember even Dying Light added a free dlc map that was a recreation of PT. Odd choice for a parkour action zombie game, but it's cool that even established developers wanted to recreate it!
