AT, I have recently discovered your channel. I am Bahamian born and living in the US. My mother and grandmother were from Eleuthera. I have never been to Eleuthera; however, I knew a lot about the island from what they had told me. This was one of the best presentations of the island I have seen on YT. Your tour guide was very informed, and I learned a lot about the birthplace of my mother and grandmother. I thank you very much for visiting my beautiful country and all the other beautiful Caribbean countries such as Jamaica, Barbados and T&T.

I'm loving these videos outside the main tourist spot. When I visited Nassau and Paradise Island it had too many tourist. I did not enjoy the food at the places where I ate, as a Trini it was bland (as it catered for an yt American palatte). Keep doing what you are doing African Tigress because you have convince me to give Bahamas another visit.

You heard the tourist said that is is private. That means a whole lot because many many famous people are around Bahamians don’t bother them at all. They let them be even if they recognize them. I recalled having a drink with a friend and suddenly there was Sean Connery passing by to purchase the morning papers and immediately she got excited and said OMG that’s Sean Connery I asked to be quiet and he looked at her and just smiled. I told not disturb him. That is why he lived here, she could believe that it was really him.

That is a veeery deep crater (Sapphire blue hole) scaaaary looking!! Almost made my heart drop when I saw that camera zoom in didn't know that was in Bahamas...(island hop more time) could you imagine if each island was as developed as other Caribbean islands or even as Nassau...it would be soooo much places to see and do...you might never be able to cover the Bahamas in 10 videos

AT you are modelling and those pics are BOMB...perfect colors to compliment the scene/views...also if you are still on Eleuthera try taking food to cook outside on a cliff overlooking the ocean...have a picnic there should be BOMB...a lady named Yoki Sturrup does that on Bimini sometimes

Looking at the Bahamas what I see is an extension of America it looks nothing like a Caribbean country it looks segregated

It looks very Caribbean to me. The beaches, the people. The accents, sun and sea. The welcoming and friendly nature of the people. The food..conch, fish, rice, peas. The boat life, ferrying from island to island. Remember every Island will have a different feel, each unique in their own way. It is not an American Island so it's not an extension of America. Now if you had said that about st. Croix, st. Thomas, st. John or Puerto Rico, I would understand since those are actually the American Islands, but even those Islands feel very Caribbean and nothing like the US.

​ An island is a piece of land surrounded by water so the Caribbean consists of lots of island nations so definitely the Bahamas FIT that definition...islands for days...either way is good too--nothing wrong with "looking like" an extension of America because America IS beautiful and everyone goes there to realize their dream..so if they trying to discredit the authenticity of the Islandy feel of Bahamas by saying that..hey it's STILL a WIN for the Bahamas..Americans do say the same and they get the best of both worlds if it does...so BIG Thank you!!
