15:45 I came across the video on reddit after it happened. I was just searching for news and didn't think twice when I clicked on the post. There wasn't a video preview, and for the split second before the shots fired, I assumed it was going to be a news story. I was horrified with how fast those lives were taken. I doubt most people could react in time. Even if you had a gun, it just happened so fast

He was on twitch streaming himself driving the route he was going to take, driving to high density "black areas", showing his guns, gear, etc!! People reported him and twitch still did NOTHING. Go ahead and raise twitch up on your shoulders for taking it down in 2 minutes whoopdee doo. How about they take action before hand and don't give this general POS a platform to carryout the live shooting HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO DO DAYS PRIOR.

Buffalo is my hometown as well. I live 15 minutes away from that Tops. I think it's just my mind playing tricks on me, but I feel like I've seen some of the victims' faces before around town. It's awful something like this can happen, and it's awful that this continues to happen.

Man, I'm so incredibly grateful that Destiny took Amos Yee seriously, engaged with his ideas, and didn't do the whole "He's just trolling guys" thing. I remember being infuriated watching all these various content creators either laughing at what he was saying because they didn't think he was serious or just screaming "A kid can't consent!" over and over again with no other arguments. His arguments were fucking dogshit too, but because no one would seriously engage with him it gave his arguments the false veneer of being some unassailable . Did a fucking service by tearing down all the stupid shit he was saying. Moral of the story: If someone tells you who they are, take them seriously because they probably aren't lying.

It's still baffling me that "The Artifact" part of Twitch is still the same, well not technically of course not housing actual mass shootings but as of me typing this there were two accounts streaming films one was streaming The Lighthouse (Willem Dafoe one) and the other Constantine (Keanu Reeves one). And yeah nobody's actually playing the game but still streaming there, my guess is to get some recognition.

I work in a similar area of online IT as Twitch. We can't catch everything and, sometimes, we can only be reactive so anyone talking smack for Twitch not getting that quickly is just ridiculous. It's not possible to catch every little permutation of every little thing at once.

The terrible thing about the Tops shooting-I mean, everything about it is terrible, but you know what I mean, I hope-is that that specific location for that grocery store was chosen for a reason. While the store was closed after the shooting, the food desert left in its wake was evident, but the way the community came together here to work around it was a beautiful thing. Ya know, ironically before seeing this video, I was going through twitch (I’m a very lite twitch user, mostly just to support my friend, and occasionally for background noise while doing something) trying to find a stream to play while I draw, and I saw a stream that was super unsettling cause of how chat was talking to the creator (being purposefully vague) and the creator was 100% cool with it and responded to them too like it was cool, super unsettled to find that on twitch 😂 so I assumed it was gonna be more shit like that in this video, but this is like 1000% worse 😂 twitch is an insane place holy fuck

Love your channel and your content is more researched and well rounded than some other channels I've watched, but I am *begging* you not to use terms like 'cheese pizza.' The term is CSEM/CSAM. "P0rn" implies a level of consent that children *cannot* give, and as a survivor the term is.. painfully overused. Abbreviations to CP are frustrating enough, but I can tolerate it, but the "cheese pizza" moniker just feels like flat on mockery. I understand KZbin makes these things difficult to talk about, but there's got to be a less goofy way to discuss something so horrific.

I recently had a KZbin friend of mine get their entire channel terminated for discussing themes of CSAM. So, I was trying to be careful because the last thing I want is to completely have my channel nuked. Being disrespectful wasn’t my intention.
