Ally’s magic is their characters’ arcs. From Pete becoming a better person due to getting people in his life who legitimately care for him, to Kristen having to rethink everything when she learns her religion is not as about love as she was led to believe, to Liam going from seed guy to war guy after losing his pet pig and after leaving a massive trail of blood due to a good multiclass and Ally’s good luck, and realizing that vengeance won’t bring anyone back, Ally is just the best at character arcs where their characters have to rethink everything they thought they knew.
