it was burke 100% when jonbenét's mum put her to sleep burke was downstairs eating pineapple. jonbenét woke up and grabbed some pineapple out of the bowl which made burke angry so he grabbed the torch and hit her over the head (he shows how he would of hit her perfectly in the interview) which he didn't intend to kill her, so he poked her with the end of the train track to wake her up then the parents finished her off took her down stairs and staged the kidnapping and patsy wrote the ransom note.

Darina Bishop 1. that's what he was told and he was like 9. most young children don't 100% comprehend the finality of death. 2. he just lived through an unspeakable trauma and had been dealing with parents who really couldn't keep it together. patsy apparently was never the same after the death do,you could only imagine how that could stunt a child. 3. pretty much right after all,of the media scrutiny and because of safety reasons, the family basically became secluded. Burke wasn't allowed to be a child anymore because they literally couldn't leave their home without media or without someone causing a safety issue by approaching them and accusing them. so, at like 10 years old, peak development time, he was hid away and able to develop no real social skills or coping skills. there is NO. evidence to tie Burke to the murder besides circumstantial details that investigators have dug up over the last 21 years, however, much of this evidence isn't consisted credible in court OR credible at all (like DNA of the family) because they LIVED with her. the media and this case absolutely ruined Burke and his ability to thrive and become a normal functioning,person. we as a society spend years putting him under a microscope, blaming him, accusing him, and even threatening his safety. ANY other that combined with a trauma would be enough completely ruin a child and that's exactly what happened in this case

I found the 911 call really bizarre. A typically aggrieved person might say something personal at first, like "my baby's gone" or "someone took my baby" instead of immediately jumping to "there's been a kidnapping". It just seems very odd that the mother brought that to attention first, in a way leading the narrative. Someone truly panicked wouldn't know what to make of a situation, and would be subconsciously searching for alternatives that were less grave or in extremely panicked cases, more severe (but the basis of both is an irrationality brought about by denial and/or panic). The mother, however, seemed too detached in the call, and even distracted (when she asked the operator "what?" it seemed more due to a nervous inconsistency rather than disorientation). I'm not sure if that's overanalysis but I study psychology too and I just wanted to share how weird I thought this was.

Rica Chu It reminds me of when they called OJ Simpson to inform him of his (ex???) wife's death his first response to "She has died" was "who killed her?" not "how did she die?"
@raycroulette6427 жыл бұрын
She was so detached, It was like she already knew she was dead .. Ive always envisioned this call coming from the basement for some reason too and the "what did you find?" (IF thts what's said) is referring to "something to make this look like strangulation" .. bc how would a 9yo know how to make a garrote in the first place, then with Patsy's paintbrush??? Behavior problems don't mean you can make a strangulation device, so I definitely think Patsy's and John did that part.. I think the letter was completed close to the pineapple bowl (kitchen/living/den/foyer however their house was set up) she put it on the stairs, and then they went to the basement together, then she called 911 in the basement. I think she & John were setting the scene that's why she was distracted when the operator said "how long has she been gone?" "What?" bc they were staging JonBenet's body whilst on the call so her "being gone" didn't register & in the midst of her selling the story, she said 1 line from the note to make it seem like it was being read right then, but it wasn't. I think Burke walked out for a second, walked back in which is why her voice changes at the end before hanging up, she thought the coast was clear & maybe didn't want to frighten him bc she knew what he'd done had to be an accident & she would fix it bc she couldn't lose him too .. this has always been a very strange case to me especially in the events that followed, WHATEVER THE REAL STORY MAY BE it's so sad. I'm sure JonBenet would have had the pageant world SHOOK. Steve Harvey would be SHOOK. I would be SHOOK.

I've been covering this forever. Patsy was still in her clothes from the party. Jon Benet had eaten pineapple even though her mom said she was asleep when she got home. She was molested all the time. Pasty would flip out cuz she would wet the bed all the time. She said the brother was sleeping but u can hear him in the background of the call. They never let him be interviewed. So either the father was in the process of molesting her and she screamed and he hit her or she wet the bed and patsy hit her too hard on the back of the sink or she fell back and hit her head and died. and then they whacked her head in the same spot to crush the original damage. Either way the scene was set up to look like she was choked but it was loose on her neck. The DNA could've come from the company but wearing new unwashed undies is weird. Idk. The police fckd up. Patsy call all friends and family and they came over. The father went directly to the room in the basement where she was found. *BUT* the door had to be unlocked to get in, so if there was no break in, the person couldn't have gotten out of the house. I think they broke the window themselves to look like a breakin and then set up a stool to climb out. But again, no one could get *IN* the house from the alarm and no sign of break in. I know it's confusing, but the police didn't check that room in the basement *because* of the lock on he outside of it. So even if someone got in the window, they couldn't have gotten out of the locked room to get into the house. And *ALL* items, including, the paper, pen, and all the items to kill her *were from inside their own house* Who is gonna come in and waste time to do all that. So the father picked her up contaminating her and then put her on the floor upstairs and patsy laid on her crying and was rubbing her face and hair. They were so rich, *the father prolly called someone he's close with in the police force that wouldn't have been checked for DNA* and *would've had a taser* been involved in helping with the killing. *John left the house with what looked like a golf club bag and was gone for a bit and then came back* They said the head trauma coulda been from *a golf club* I could go on and on. Ugh.

@evastringer11917 жыл бұрын
this took me a while to write so pleaseee read it!!! ❤❤❤ my theory: i think that her brother did it and here's why. btw i'm up to 6:59 in the video so i'll just explain it all because i haven't heard what she says yet. so i think Jonbenet woke up went down and saw her brother was having pineapple and grabbed a piece with her fingers since it was found a piece was left in her body. this lead to burke getting angry then the first thing he found was the torch and hit her on the head. there was evidence that he was somewhat jealous of her and has hit her with a golf club before. i believe he didn't intend on killing her but did. so when she fell he tried to wake her up and poked her with a piece of his train track which was thought to be a taser but was found it didn't leave the same marks that were left on Jonbenet. however the train track matched perfectly. the parents basically did the rest like the ransom note and the scene the police would see. now the murder weapon in my eyes was definitely the torch because zero finger prints were found so obviously they would clean it if it was the murder weapon. now as for burke in the 911 call i think his parents told him so many things like to keep quiet and don't say anything you did and what we heard in the call burke obviously didn't know the call was still going so he was "practicing" or maybe her parents told him you didn't do it. in all the interviews and everything he acts very strange and once said something along the lines of "my parents told me not to say too much". sooo yeah i believe it was him. if you made it down her thank you so much and show me by liking this comment :))))

Some more evidence that was found/events that weren't said were: after Jon moved JonBenet's body onto the floor, he picked her up again and moved her to the sofa, therefore letting people walk all over the DNA left on the floor. Also an experiment was done that came to the conclusion that a scream could be heard from the next house along more than two floors up, which is where her parents' bedroom was. Evidence to do with this is in fact their neighbour and close friend apparently heard a scream in the middle of the night, but soon decided to go back to sleep, assuming it was just a child having a nightmare. Following this, those same neighbours also heard a loud noise coming from the Ramsey's house, closely resembling the noise created by the grate covering the basement window access being moved along the concrete floor. That's all :) thanks for reading

I am so fascinated with the JonBenét case, just like yourself. After watching the documentary and the the Dr Phil interview I definitely believe it was Burke. I reckon he got jealous of the attention that his sister was receiving from their parents and knocked her out with the torch, then the parents covered it up. It's so sad how this case is still classified as unsolved. Another case I'm interested in is the disappearance of Madeline McCann. Maybe that is something you can talk about in one of your next videos. Thanks for the interesting video topic, can't wait to watch more xx
@martaribeiro967 жыл бұрын
I definitely think Bella should do a video on Madeline McCann. I live in Portugal and most people here think it was the parents and I think it'd be really interesting to hear what other theories there might be.
@aussieaimz24127 жыл бұрын
After watching the CBS miniseries, the Dr Phil interview and another documentary (forgot the name) on the case, it is clear that the family or even a family friend had something to do with her death. I believe the parents made it look like another person caused her death, i.e making it look as if she was sexually assaulted, choked and tied down. I cant remember exactly, though I think in the miniseries they said there was no DNA found on her from this 'sexual assault'. They also demonstrated how easy it was for a boy of Burke's age/height to cause her head injury. There are so many theories on what could have happened and so many things that don't add up. I am annoyed that this case still has not been solved. I just hope with today's technology they will be able to come to a conclusion soon.

The family themselves were guilty. A major part of this theory that Bella didn't mention is the fact that the ransom note saying she was allegedly kidnapped cannot possibly be real because she was lying in the basement, dead, the entire time. The ransom note said that if patsy called the police, she'd be killed. So patsy's next step in this entire cover up was to call the police, thus her possible change in demeanor after she thought the call ended, so that it would seem like when they found JonBenet she would have been dead because of the breakage of the rules. But this is also impossible because Bella said there was no sign of forced entry or disturbance by an intruder entering the house to place her there. I hope this makes sense and someone actually sees it. Basically, how did jonbenet end up in the basement when she was supposedly kidnapped and there was absolutely no sign that any intruders had forced entry or gotten into the house in any way, including through the window???

I have a degree in criminology and I took a class where we talked about policing and crimes. We talked about this case for like 3 days. The police did a horrible job. But the ransom note was extremely weird, it was definitely written by a woman and if JonBenét was actually kidnapped by a non-family member there wouldn't be a 2 and a half page ransom note. Also, the writing of the ransom shows to be written as if the writer personally knew JonBenét. I have no doubt in my mind that the brother did it and the mother tried to cover it up. The ransom note just says it all.

But why? A 9 year old wouldn't be prosecuted. Next Southern Wit. So they didn't know that Mr Ramsey was not a Southern person. Or did they??? So confused. She was a beloved member of the family. If there was a horrible accident call 911. They were pretty normal. I don't understand at all. Have you ever looked into the housekeeper? I think the whole family was In on it for the reasons you listed, however another evidently relevant problem is whenever the police found her body, mr Ramsey picked her up which removed her from her placement and put his DNA all over her which throws off the case. Knowing this actually gave me three theories, A: he picked her up out of affection to be able to hold he again. B:he was just being stupid. C: he was covering up the DNA of one of the other family members OR himself soooo yeaa

John led the officers to a locked door that was pitch black and that’s when he said he found her body. There’s no way he would’ve known she was in there without prior knowledge as he never turned on the lights. There was no signs of intruders in that room so how did they kill her in there and escape if the door was locked from the outside? It had to be John who put her body there and why he was allowed to carry her upstairs is beyond me.

It's not a mystery anymore, her remains and those of her brothers were discovered not too far from where the rest of their family was buried.

ShaunaMcroke I heard that her remains where found ,The theory is she had a fling with one of the officers keeping them captive and he had a soft spot for her and was on the fence about killing her and did but it wasn't with the rest of the family

Danielle she can't solve anything because she doesn't have any more evidence than there already is, and she didn't examinated any of this cases herself. But maybe if she could she would be good at it, maybe not lol

I've seen a million shows on this case and you've done a very thorough job covering it. Nice work.

I go from thinking mom did it, to maybe dad.. either way.. BOTH were INVOLVED. Both were Liars.

I think Burke did it and the parents tried to cover it up because they didn't want to lose both children, love these videos!

Why though? If it were a child he would not be prosecuted. Really no answer makes any sense. I think it was the housekeeper.

I had a cousin, who my family adopted when she was born, who was murdered 3 months after her first birthday in September 2010. Thankfully, we figured out who it was, being as it was fairly obvious. It was her biological father, who is in jail now. He abused her for months and asphyxiated her, which was her cause of death. He tried blaming it on her sister who was only 2 years old!! Her name is kayli danielle bates. I thought I'd just let you know because you're interested in these types of stories 😅

Carlee Armstrong - I believe something similar happened in this case. The father is guilty. Remember that when he married his wife she was very big into beauty pageants.
