At the beginning, when the ball of yarn was still unraveling, I stood by him because there were some reports of police and and some high ranking officials being involved in BURNING SUN and Golden phone cases, so I thought he did right by not reporting, otherwise, they'd get rid of him and rule it a "sui*ide" to protect their own a*ses, especially if you know Junhyung, he always had this gloomy, depressive aura around him, so framing him would be easy HOWEVER, as the investigation showed, reports of police involvement were false and he did not report these not due to fears for his own safety, but because as he himself said, he didn't think it was a "big deal" In summary, instead of doing what's morally right and obligatory by law, he decided not only to stay silent, which could have stopped more women from abuse, but he also made disgusting comments about the situation. Junhyung is still one of my favorite artists, his songs just hit differently and there is no denying he's mad talented, but what he did was beyond wrong and there's no denying it

Burning Sun was no small hushed up scandal, it stretched to the point it was covered internationally and served as a point of extreme embarrassment to the whole country which says quite a lot considering the world does not often hear about scandals from South Korea. And who better to know about the scandal than a Korean.. Working in the same sector of the entertainment industry.. Who we know knew somebody pretty much directly implicated? 5:18 from here the false information that almost ruined JunHyung's career begins. If you did a fact check, you'd know that end of 2019, the transcripts of the text messages were released. The only video JunHyung received from the Psycho JJy was a video of a JJy with an adult club worker. The film was TAKEN in CONSENT, and showed JJy touching her... In concent. What was done without her concent was JJY sharing the video. She did allow him to film her, but she didn't allow him to share. JunHyung, therefore, didn't know jjy was also taking videos secretly, without concent. He was hunted for years due to something he had nothing to do with. And sorry, I'd also make snark remarks about hostess consenting a psycho to touch her and film it. The only crime there was JJy distributing the video without her consent...
