Exactly, I use to think the prize money was 100k but even that was horrendously low if you compare what they do on average in a daily episode. Literally risking their lives with crazy stunts and drinking animal fluids whether it is sperm, blood, or the whole thing just mixed in a blender. And then I look at The Amazing Race and their prize money being a million dollars while they also get to travel around the world. I honestly don't even know if I would even compete in Fear Factor if their prize money was a solid million.

I was wearing a Captian America shirt, that day I met a russian kid ehile waiting to get in and became his friends, somelady droped a diet coke on my moms foot, and there was one large lady, one athletic girl, I forgot one, and the winner was a athletic guy from the navy. I remember he had absolutely rekt everyone on the first challenge where you had to hold a zeppelin grip on the ceiling. And also one many competion a African American couple had to eat blended bugs and got freaked out and the guy threw up. So why would I know these details?

My french teacher does something like this. Each week everyone in the class is given 3 or 4 buttons. If we get caught speaking English in French class, someone can call is out and take one of our buttons. At the end of the week, the people with the least amount of buttons have to do a challenge. For example, eat very spicy hot sauce or get ice put down their shirt. Anyone in the class can do it, even if they have a lot of buttons, but the people with the least amount have to do the challenge. It’s actually a really effective way of getting us to speak French. Because of it, I’ve caught myself speaking French when I don’t have to. Being in French immersion is great.

My dad got picked for the live show once... the first thing they had the contestants do was hold onto some handle bars and dangle over the stage (a facade of old western houses). Now my dad is about 250 pounds or so and at the time had a frozen shoulder so it was pure agony to him. Oh not only did they have to dangle they all had fans pointing at them. Surprisingly he made it to the second round. The challenge was to swing on a cable and throw three dead octopus into a bucket that their team mate was holding, once all three had been thrown the teammates would switch places. My dad didn't make all three and got eliminated. Every contestant got to say a word to the audience and my dad's were "I can't wait to go give my daughter a hug" that's nice and all but his point was that he had just handled dead octopus and I hate the smell of sea food. So there that's my fear factor story.
