The reason Lindsey Buckingham but most of his solo work to the album was because both Stevie and Mick were completely off their heads on Coke and out of shape at the time he more or less carried that album. Always really annoys me how everybody always Times tries to underplay Lindsey Buckingham’s importance Can’t really blame him for wanting to get out after that.

Well we can see that The most successful albums of fleetwood mac Are all made when the tension is at its highest The Moore tension in the band the better the album gets It's a funny little thing about fleetwood mac That tension = success Just saying 🇧🇻

The highest chart topper Fleetwood Mac ever had in the state prior to their self titled 1975 album was 1969's "English Rose"-the one which features a blowout closeup of Mick Fleetwood in drag making weird faces. It only reached #190 and is the closest anyone will ever come to the Peter Green - blues period of the early Fleetwood Mac days. Quite a departure from Rumors, ain't it? "Love That Burns", for example, sounds nothing alike from "Rumors".

Changing the sound over time is what kept them relevant, in all the years, plus all the great songs would have helped I would imagine.

I understand that this is a heavily abridged reader's digest version of events. There's lots to talk about. The fake Fleetwood Mac, for example. However, it's sad that the death of Christine McVie wasn't touched upon.
