Wow that is a great story! So many twists and turns. The Rolling Stones asked Sam for permission to record "It's All Over Now". Bobby was against the idea. But Sam said just wait and see how much money you will make from the Stones version. Bobby would say he loved the Rolling Stones after the money in fact started to come in. @Muzik Michael how is that wrong look it up plenty of music historians have said so including Nelson George.....the 5 Stairssteps even did a show where the Jackson 5 opened Joe Jackson had some interactions with Clarence sr....the Stairssteps we're before the Jackson's and the Sylvers there signed before the Jackson's had hits before then too....I know ppl don't talk about them as much the Jackson were influenced by alot of groups not just them their first tv appearance they sang a Delponics song it's all here on KZbin

@@cressapellom4205 but Gordy did create the group.....the group was signed to steeltowm records before Motown.....he may used that style of marketing and EVERY group list Frankie Lymon as in influence BUT nobody was set up like the Jackson's being a all brother group that young..... except the 5 stairsteps this is facts it's on the internet

It is also noted that Bobby Womack’s son that he had by Sam Cook’s wife died tragically by becoming stuck between a living room couch and smothering to death. This affected Bobby the rest of his life and he wrote a song about it.😑🤦🏾‍♂️😢 I thought you were going to touch on this in the video; but, you can only touch on so much in one video.👈🏿
