Thanks to Marvellous you and your Marvellous videos, slowly through my depression I have managed to be force myself to do some creative things, to care about my "kingdom" again, to care about how things look and how much that can affect how we feel. I have painted furniture and by hand decorated walls with patterns and different colours using my gouache paints (very C18th!) and maybe soon I shall make paintings again. I have to do everything so so slowly - just a little bit here and there, otherwise I am pressurised and overwhelmed - and your calm but inspiring videos about everything have helped me through panic attacks and how to do little things, a little at a time.

I love colors, and my favorite color is green. Mint-green or sea-green, not very dark colors. I don't like blue, have no blue clothes and there is not much blue in my house. You paint on paper, I like to paint on fabric, in the same way. Lots of water and a little paint what blends together. About 35 years ago I started making quilts and went to a color-workshop. I learned a lot and since that time I use more different colors then the one I like. Your painting with the red curtains is beautiful. Many greetings for you and Clochette.

Thank you Marjan! That's interesting I'm sure painting on fabric must be super interesting too, to see how the colors and pigments land on the fabric and get mixed, thank you it's just a little sketch for ascene which will include some real characters I'm working on . Have a good week !

Thank you for another informative and magical video. There is something enchanting about playing with paint especially when you open a new tube of paint. I really like using watercolour pencils, too. I love colour and my house is full of it. (No beige or grey to be seen) . My hair is currently blue and turquoise as we are heading into our summer. During the winter I had red and orange hair with a bit of purple and yellow thrown in for good measure.

Hello Lynne !oOh I use blue colors once in a while of course, but it's not my first choice and I use it more for backgrounds or as a complementary color. Thank you! I'm glad you appreciated it !

what a lovely and inspiring video again! i would have thought your favorite colour was green, seeing your marvelous studio. i love it too in interior decorating, my kitchen is currently yellow and olive green and my library/living is pale green. i am in my first house owned solely by me and it shows! no more white walls, lol.

Thank you ! oh no, green couldn't be my favourite is a too unstable color, which is very obvious when you film and take photos even recently the color of the toad from the halloween workshop was different on the screen than in person. But I can understand why you like this colour so much , white walls are totally depressing !

I love color, especially the colors of nature, but I never really tried to speak color's language. So I've scheduled a deep winter project for art practice this year. I'm going to be color swatching my modest collection of watercolors, inks, pastels, and tinted charcoals. I'll be doing color wheels, mixing grids, gradients, etc. I'll even be mixing media and experimenting with paint additives. I'm hoping to have my own personal grimoire of color by spring. I don't think I can say I have a favorite color, but I often default to blue in my artwork, because it's the color of distance and of the sky at my favorite times of day.

Wow, it's a very interesting project, yes I can understand the blue pigments always work well and are easy to mix and associate with other colors for artwork.

Very inspiring lecture about the use of colors. I need to work in all aspects of my life on not being afraid of adding more color. I did hear from an interior designer ( on KZbin) that beige was the color of fear. Thanks for the fantastic video 🍃

That's interesting talking about colours in our home is a full other topic but so interesting about what it reveals about people who live there, I'm not surprised that this designer connected beige with fear, neutral colours to me are suspicious and so boring , it's like staying around the swimming pool and never getting into the water. I love colours and wear them all the time, no doubt shocking some cultures! I recently went to Italy and Sicily and everyone wore blacks greys and whites, I found it very dull. I wore silk skirts and shirts with gorgeous flowing colours. I don't mind if people want to label me with their class or cultiral prejudices! Colour makes me extremely happy!
