And like said here “if akaza truly thought he was stronger why not challenge for UM2”. I do agree Akaza has better feats but their battles were very different. Douma got outsmarted by the hashira with the highest iq. Also keep in mind that Akaza,Douma and Kokushibo all lost to plot. Akaza and Kokushibo should’ve regenerated their heads and massacred the hashira. And in reality Douma beats both Kanao and Inosuke then overcomes the poison

In simple terms, Akaza is the middle child who gets annoyed by Doma(youngest child) so much that he punches him hard. Then Kokushibo(eldest brother) puts Akaza in his place then proceeds to tell him not to do that again, then Akaza tries to act all tough but doesn't have that much effect on Kokushibo cuz he knows he'll lose 😂

I hope people realize a couple of things. If not (it's not spoilers, just clarifying): 1. Neither Kokushibo (Upper Moon 1) nor Yoriichi (the guy in the memory/flashback) is Tanjiro's dad. 2. Sumiyoshi (the guy that looks exactly like Tanjiro) is ALSO not Tanjiro. All of this is eventually explained. Also, we saw Yoriichi last season.

To clear things up SPOILER ALERT‼️ the upper 1(kokushibo) is the brother of the demon slayer that tanjiro has been seing in his flashbacks also the slayer that muzan is scared of so basically kokushibo was angry that he wasnt as strong as his brother(the man muzan is scared of) so he became a demon. while the Slayer muzan is scared of almost killed muzan and later died by old age. Soooooooo kokushibo is NOT REALATED TO TANJIRO IN ANY WAY neither is the Slayer that tanjiro sees in his flashbacks(kukushibos brother/the man muzan fears)Hope this clears things up for yall bye👋
