It's amazing to watch how much money those who purchased in 2019 or 20 and who sold in 2023. They pretty much all lost a lot of money and couldn't renew their mortgage so forced to sell in a downward trend market.

Yeah the real estate market is all about timing, but sometimes life (divorce, family, job) forces you into bad timing spots. If you purchased recently and had to sell this past year rather than 2022 or 2021, the loss was quite big in some areas.
