I'd love to see your take on tribal tribal with ur dragon or reaper king at the helm

Savage Ventmaw is included in my decklist for it, because it generates GGGRRR on attack, which means you only need to generate 1 treasure or have one mana up to activate the extra combat on Hellkite Charger. At that point in the game, you usually have enough flyers that even 4 or 5 floating mana is enough to kill everyone. Also, cant forget Moat!

savage ventmaw and aggravated assault are also some other combo pieces to go infinite. There is a funny "infinite" mana strategy that I came up with. It requires Miirym, Scion of the Ur Dragon (WUBRG, Pay 2 and send a Dragon to Grave, Scion becomes copy of target until end of turn), Bladewing the Risen (3BBRR, ETB put a dragon from grave onto battlefield) , and Ganax Ancestral Hunter (4R, If Itself or another Dragon ETB, create a treasure token). Put two triggers of Scion on the stack, the first one copying Ganax and the second one copying Miirym, cast Bladewing the Risen and revive Miirym with the first copy and Ganax with the second. You have essentially 3 Miiryms and 4 Ganaxs on the field at once. Any dragon you cast on that turn will generate 12 treasures and any dragon on subsequent turns generates 8 treasures. Basically infinite mana. Then you put in Hellkite Tyrant to win off of all the treasures you generated

no terror of the peaks? no roaming throne? no goldspan?

I run all those in my Ur-Dragon deck, but they are pretty expensive and definitely can be cut for a budget build, or if you’re aiming for a different plan.

Actually I don’t run Roaming Throne because a chair doesn’t fit the aesthetic of dragons to me

I think you should have done more of a curve. Cut some of the bigger dragons for a few cheaper ones, especially those that can make some mana. Goldspan dragon, bonehead dracosaur come to mind as one’s I would definitely have on the list. I think crimson hell kite is too strong not to make the list as well. Astral dragon could introduce some additional combo lines as well. Appreciate the content and like seeing the outline of all of combos in some of the tribal decks

Burn as an archetype would be a fun concept to explore.
@AmmiO210 ай бұрын
It's just not viable. You've got 3 times the opponents with twice as much life each, using cards intended to burn on the scale of 1v1 at 20.

@@AmmiO2 agreed. I’ve had fun with a budget Imodane deck I built last week, which I think might be the only burn commander that allows for the archetype to exist in a multiplayer format. None of the other mono red options spoke to me at all, despite the fact that they might be more varied.

@@HexStickmanThe closest to "Burn" decks in EDH are Heartless Hidetsugu, and Auntie Blyte.

@@AmmiO2 lmao word man. Maybe the correct way to go about my original suggestion is to discuss why burn doesn’t work in the format.

Take a look at curious control with thrasios/vial smasher, which uses cards like curiosity and guttersnipe in tandem with control spells. Pure burn doesn’t work in EDH as Ammio said, but this does, and in a non-infinite way. CEDH TV has videos on the deck, and shows off a few variations. A fun way that he doesn’t cover that you might be interested in is running burn spells alongside the combo like lightning bolt and lava spike.
