The Urban Ponds are on FIRE! (Trout & Catfish)

Today me and P money fish a small local pond in search of some trout and catfish! We found plenty of both! These ponds are all over AZ and get stocked frequently. It is a fun way to get on a lot of action fast.
Arizona urban ponds are currently stocking trout until mid march in these ponds so get out and find a pond near you! We caught fish this day using worms and power eggs. The jig bite was dead.
There are so many urban fishing opportunities here in AZ I hate when people say there is no water here. It is everywhere and stocked waters at that! Thank you all for the support! Go do some urban pond catfishing and trout fishing!

The rural desert canal trips are interesting.we tried it once years ago,brutally cold for Az .dont remember the area but it was east and south of phoenix not far from a casino.typical cold front bite.found a great spillway/ lock/ dam that under normal weather conditions would have been great.

Depends on what pond. Tbh I only eat out of the Salt River because the water the fish swim in affects the taste of the meat.

You can yes in moderation. This is the sole reason they stock the ponds, for them to be taken out.
