Hypersonic speed has been used form WW2 true but Russia has managed to reach 27k km/h speed, literally about 15min flight from Moscow to NY, but according to Russia they already mass producing/updating their rockets while US has finally managed to successfully test their missiles, so quite a gap but lets see how this develops further, still interesting info provided. ps. one thing is to create this missiles another thing is to counter, which will lead to new radars to detect this sort of missiles and antil hypersonic missiles which again Russia already has it... kinda makes sense why US is sanctioning Russia as US don't like to be behind...
