@@itz4418it’s a distance race where the runners have to clear barriers. It’s essentially distance hurdles. Very interesting event and it is contested in every world level meet.

what makes the Americans stand apart is that their strides are longer and the leg cycle is slower making them able to conserve energy and run faster

Has anyone ever considered combining the fastest 4 runners into a combined 4x4 team? We combine the best by country but not the best humans alive combining all countries together. What can the best 4 humans do? The best American team from 30 years ago, set the bar so high.

The best way to do this would actually probably to make TWO super fast teams of the top 8 runners. its REALLY hard to run as fast as these guys if there is no one to push you.
