I'm 75 currently at The Paradiso Hotel Ibiza, fed up with Ministry of Sound rubbish all day l went for a chat with the Pool DJ. He was a young lad from Manchester whose Grandad (l felt old) used to go to The Wheel back in the day. I asked if he had any proper sound's and he pulled out a stick saying, no requests, as it comes, l'll stick this on for my last 20 minutes ... great! 6 by 6, Earle van Dyke Devil in Blue 👗 Mitch Ryder Hey Little Girl, Major Lance Heaven Sent You, Elgins and Just a Little Misunderstanding 👍 There were 12 Brits, 2 Swedes, 4 Dutch and a mardy arsed French couple all up dancing 🎶 🎵 Kid looked pleased saying l'll try this more often 😂

There used to be a whole section for record sales in the early days ...surprised to see only two or three boxes at this one, until Rob Smith arrived before the chirping birds with his. hi great vid, love it, i know their are a lot off djs out there who are vinyl junkies and are playing the tunes that, great but i am an avid northern fan and have been since the age of 13, since 1971, i had loads of vinyl then had them nicked i now dj for our scoot club and play northern but i do it with mp3s etc, now then there seems to be a lot of snobery towards djs who use mp3s on the northern circuit, i was wondering if any of you, out there mind if djs use mp3s instead of vinyl just a tnought, i dont care personaly, wether vinyl or mp3, as long as the music is there, and im dancing away you thoughts please thanks for your time, in reading this,

I do the same here in Spain kdeeuk - it's all about the music! Playing vinyl doesn't fill the floor, quality tunes do! Respect to dj's and collectors that have big vinyl collections, but yes there is a lot of snobbery. Some venues in the UK not only insist on vinyl, but it has to be original vinyl. Bit OTT IMHO!
