The talent in our secondary is so exciting. Loved the Jenkins FA signing as well drafting the Auburn CBs Pritchett and James. CB is definitely our biggest strength alongside WR. Hope Julian Love performs well this year to warrant an extension as I also really like him.

I was able to do the same thing in certain positions, regarding calling what we’d play. Second down? Unimaginative run up the gut to bring up 3rd and long.

It was so predictable, the playcalling.

“Seattle always played a vanilla scheme” that’s what the league said about Seattle, it was time for a change for Grubb

The whole league plays a vanilla scheme

On offense. Defense just responds to offense

Not saying if you just beat the guy in front of yo my on defense that doesn’t win. Don’t let them off the line is how I play d

I’m a Niner fan but the Hawks CBs are freaks…new HC who is a defensive guy will be good for them
@keycalhoun54944 ай бұрын
Honest question. We’ve gotten sooo used to our corners playing one side…do you think we could or will see players follow guys this year? I haven’t heard how MM chooses to use the corners, whether on one side or just playing the matchups.

Leslie Frazier was intimating in a recent interview that the Seahawks would maybe have Tariq travel. Yes, I do think it'll be used at least to some degree with the new coaching staff.

Boye Mafe said that one of his favorite matchups in practice is between DK Metcalf and Riq Woolen because they are both the same height. 6 4.

I finally needed uo betting the Steelers. Someone gave me 20:1 to make the afc championship…. Steelers gonna win I think soon.

Steelers could surprise, for sure.

@@thehawksnestclips I’ve been trying to get their attention to somehow introduce my play design schemes. They have the ideal offense for my scheme.. I was trying to get on board with the Seahawks. Then last year the ravens…. This year trying with the Steelers. Yes I know my chances. Hahaha

Woolen had a bad tackling year, NOT a bad coverage year.

Did we forget woolen is afraid to tackle ANYONE?
@codyhughes44724 ай бұрын
Nope. I remember the Steelers rolling the hawks
@codyhughes44724 ай бұрын
And that woolen can’t tackle at all

Nah man he'll be better. He was coming off a knee injury. His rookie year he was solid.
@codyhughes44724 ай бұрын
@@joedean3578 not at tackling… he’s lights out in space covering. I’ve been saying I’d like to see him play the deep third as a safety and just ball hawk. He put one hit on someone last year at the end of the season I was like maybe there is hope for his tackling. It was still a long way from a solid form tackle It was just a big hit, still noice to see. I like riq, I also would of traded him for a ridiculous haul of draft picks after his rookie year, as a gm. You’re getting almost a Russell Wilson haul for a second year player, cb too, basically DROY the season before. 3 years left on a rookie contract… I don’t think he was used well last year. Almost forced to be taught to tackle in game. Teams were attacking his side of the field in the run game over and over
@jimster15774 ай бұрын
@codyhughes4472 I dunno man. He looked like he was afraid to tackle last year. Moving him to safety? Still have to tackle. Maybe I'm still spoiled from Chancellor and Thomas. I like Riq too. Seamed he tackled much better as a rookie. Hoping that better defensive coaching makes a difference. It probably will.

Woolen. Sorry. Not a dawg. Not even close to a dawg. He is an offensive guy. I might try him as wide out 2 … he doesn’t fit as a corner
