Just a reminder because you said that you didn't remember Bonnie and Enzo interacting. I'm Bamon all the way, but Bonenzo was cute. Anyway... When Enzo first showed up he and Damon, who was just broken up with by Katherine in Elena's body, took Jeremy hostage in order to get Bonnie to have a locator spell down to find Wes Maxfield. The next interactions were after Enzo killed himself and was on the other side. He annoyed Bonnie endlessly to talk to Damon about finding a way to save him. Then as the other side was collapsing she saved him and let Silas get sucked into the void and then Enzo was the first one to pass through Bonnie and come back to life. Cut to the only other interaction they had where he brought Lily the iPod filled with her favorite music to listen to while held in the Salvatore cellar. Surmise to say, they've interacted, but it was nothing with underlying tension. Fun fact, Michael Malarkey who played Enzo wanted Bonnie to be his love interest from the start so at least he eventually got what he wanted. The only guy out of pretty much all of them on the cast who asked for Bonnie and actually got her so that's something to be happy about.

“Because you may be a thousand miles away or a hundred years away, but you’re still here with me and my heart is right there in that coffin with you until you come back to me”. The way Elena impacted/inspired Damon and now he wants to do right by her even though she isn’t physically there. He wants to be a better person for her, for himself, and for all of his loved ones. I felt so bad for Damon when it was revealed that what happened to Elena was Lily’s idea, she took away the person who made him happiest and yet she expects to connect with him and have some type of understanding by saying how Julian makes her a better person and if he knew about that [bc of Elena] 😣 Bonnie and Enzo were unexpected but they are everything and really got me on board as the episodes continued. A bit of a enemies (or opposing sides) to lovers, I just love when character a and character b don’t necessarily get along but then end up caring about each other and falling in love.

Bonnie and Enzo was so random lol. But they grow on you the more you see them I think. STEFAN AND CAROLINE SDFDSFSFDSFDS. They are freaking cute. Dont try to understand the flashfowards lol. I didnt on the first watch at all.

I absolutely hate the way they introduced bonnie and Enzo. Would have preferred to see their slow build up naturally and then show us that scene, not just throw it at us out of nowhere. Can’t lie the whole flash forward format I don’t like in this show there’s multiple times they do it in season 7 where I feel like it ruins a plot line etc
