The Originals do indeed burn in the sun, but unlike Ordinary Vampires, they can`t be killed by the sunlight. Elijah Explained all of it that then he was talking to Elena after she pulled out the dagger and we do see Elijah wearing a Ring then he tosses the Coins at the Window..

Idk to me unless you’re my parent, guardian, or there’s some sort of power you have over someone, and it’s your job to make decisions for them, you give the other person agency, period. Since Stefan and Elena are dating and he is not her father, he doesn’t have a right to control her, and he’s also not responsible for her actions. Plus Stefan has argued with her about this sort of thing and he can either dump her and do what he wants or respect that. I know Damon / Elena are a big part of the trope where the person loves the other person so much they hurt and control them and that’s PASSION, but that fantasy doesn’t appeal to me at all lol. I definitely enjoy toxic relationships in fiction, depending, but the one-sided, sweet but not really kind is not my type at all. Anyway I know you’re not even talking about romance and probably more in general about showing tough love to anyone including friends. ACTUALLY-Bonnie finds a good balance between Stefan and Damon based on what you’re describing, regarding protecting Elena.

Wait, I forgot that Elijah had an elixir for Elena lol. I can’t remember if there was any follow up on that, but people always talk about this as Elena facing absolute death or vampirism as her only two choices, erasing the elixir mention. 14:15 THIS. I guess I also don’t find the idea of sacrificing your loved one’s friends for you without blinking an eye to be romantic unless both parties are real into it lol.

Giving her blood was the right choice she could still choose not to compelete the process after or if you dont like being a vampire after a few years take your ring off 😂

Elena is saying let this person kill me!!! and if this guy doesn't lie i will wake back up....Yet his goal is to kill Klaus so me waking up is really.. of no concern and is at most a hopeful bit of after math.... Elijah will suffer no consequences if he breaks this deal...

Klaus must become a hybrid because his blood will save Damon and if they kill the original vampires then all the vampires will die immediately so Klaus must not die sorry for the spoiler
