@Chazthefurr3 күн бұрын
The first incident analyis is still incomplete. The Kirrie No11 is a combatitive player and its not clear what happens initially in the tackle but the Motherwell guy limps back to verbally challenge him. The Motherwell player then quickly walks away only for him to be pulled back round by the Kirrie player .... then after that grab to his shirt he indicates (and presumably tells the ref) that he's been grabbed by the throat. So not a completely innocent party and it looks like he's had an undue influence on the referee who also seems to discount his part in the incident. There's no mention of that by Willie Collum here either. Perhaps I'm influenced by his high tackle on a United player very recently in front of Steven McLean which went unpunished. In the Dundee derby match I thought SImon Murray pushed Holt but the push I see here comes just after the handball contact. But then I always thought deliberate was a factor and I think his arm position and contact with the ball is accidental. I think this also applies to the Ross County guy. It just seems today's referees interpret the rules differently or the rules themselves have evolved this way. Too many handball penalties. And another issue I'd like explained is all that gathering of players surrounding goalies in the six yard box at corners, just their to obstruct their movement towards the ball as it comes over. It also creates so many stushies with defenders too. Could Willie please explain how all this works please as it happens in most matches these days. Think all the teams are coaching their players to do this at corners.

Willie Collum talks a load of rubbish. He keeps changing his idea of things every show. Handball rule annoys me. Just make players play in straight jackets. How any sportsman can run and jump with their hands by their side is beyond me. Again going back to shirt pull. So if the pull starts inside the box but continues out is that then a free kick. Foul should always be where initial contact starts, not where it ends

@RobertCampbell-u7w3 күн бұрын
Not even a mention of Johnstone’s last man tackle that should have been a red. No attempt to play ball, last man, case closed. Every “subjective” decision by a Celtic “minded” referee goes against Rangers, again. Collum still in a job after slating a fellow referee’s appearance in 2025. Scotland is infested and is more corrupt than North Korea. Time to rip up the SPLF, SFA and get foreign refs for all games including either of the old firm. Anything short of that and the game is a bogey here. Surely Celtic fans want this? After all, you claim to be getting cheated, although had Liewell making Robust statements to stop an internal investigation. 😷 Get in European refs then at least the stats will be the same for both teams as it is in Europe. If anyone from the SFA or a referee could explain why Rangers and Celtic have identical stats in Europe but the stats are all completely stacked towards Celtic in Scotland that would be great. Cheating in plain site every month and this gaslighting exercise helps no one.

Willie doesn't get the handball law. The key question - given how the law is written - is whether an arm/hand is in a natural position ie. " the position of their hand/arm is... a consequence of, or justifiable by, the player’s body movement for that specific situation". Nobody who understands that wording of the law - and the nature of the game and jumping for a ball - can claim the Dundee United player's arm was not in a natural position.

@pg2323234 күн бұрын
It’s funny how the “subjective” decision goes in favour of rangers and not Motherwell. Rarely do we see these refereeing decisions given against the old firm. The reason for this is because when there are contentious decisions made against the old firm it is thrashed around the media for weeks, whereas, if it’s given against Motherwell (or non old firm teams) the noise generally dies down quicker thus taking the heat off the referees. In essence, it’s an easier life for the referees to give decisions in favour of the old firm. Every non old firm fan experiences this and lives with it, and old firm fans do not notice it because it has been the norm for decades.

@@alexanderbryce1467watched it yeah. A rare one for rangers to concede a penalty. I’m talking years worth of games though to compare against, not just these call outs from 1 video. I do think though that it is a penalty to Hibs, it’s not clear and obvious error compared to the disallowed goal.

Why are major decisions involving Rangers "subjective decisions" what nonsense from Collum, Motherwell should have been awarded a goal due to a major goalkeeping blunder by Butland due to his physical pushing of Motherwell player just before ball arrives, Watt entitled to jump for it, Butland misread and mistimed the flight of the ball resulting in him making a blunder, Beaton and VAR in Hibs game correctly award a penalty Hagi arriving at pace clearly impedes the Hibs player in the box, its clumsy no contact on the ball, nothing subjective whatsoever about the decision
