Thank you SO much for narrating this doc with an ACTUAL human being and not TTS. It's becoming exceedingly more difficult to find documentaries presented by a living, breathing person.

@@1nePercentJuice Thank you for saying that. I hate that synthetic speech garbage. The second I notice it, I stop the video. This whole AI speech thing is very glitchy. It pauses in weird places in ways that humans don’t do, it mispronounces things, etc. I have brought it up in the comments in other videos and the response I usually get is, “Sorry, but I don’t speak English.” So in a way I’m sympathetic to that reasoning. But there are still plenty of lazy English-speaking content creators who just crank out videos and don’t care about interviewing people or going out and getting original video footage themselves instead of relying on stock footage. It’s very lazy and low quality.

@@kevinmorgan8534-- Pius XI, who was born Ambrogio Damiano Achille Ratti, an Italian. As an Italian, he himself would have pronounced Pius as PEE-us, not PIE-us, which is an Anglicization of the pronunciation. English pronunciation is not normative across the world, you fool!

It is NOT true. I have a book on my bookshelf by Francis Lapide. It is by a Jew who. like the Chief Rabbi of Rome, converted to being a Christian as a Catholic. He estimated that the Pope directly saved 813,000 Jews. I can go into far greater depth. This video is by some sort of freemasonic movement that wants to destroy the Catholic Church. In the early 1930s Hitler was able to achieve power full power in German when the Catholic parties in the Reichstag provided the necessary votes that allowed Hitler a greater amount of power and the ability to circumvent the Weimer constitution. Those Catholic parties did this as a quid pro quo for the German Government signing a Concordat with the Vatican. It was Mussolini who recommended to Hitler that he agree to a Concordat with the Vatican, as a way for Hitler to get what he wanted and needed from various political parties in order to do away with the democratic order.

The Catholic church signed several concordats with several of the German lander during the 1920s. It actually wanted one to cover all of Germany but socialist and protestant influence prevented this during the Weimar republic. It was still trying to get a national corcordat even before Hitler came to power. Hitler simply inherited this issue from the previous government.

We are not talking about the gospels but the collaboration of evil men, including the Pope and others, during the Second World War with the Nazis in Rome and Italy. Hitler stated in Mein Kampf that National Socialism would replace Christianity. In 1937, at Pope Pius XII's coronation ceremony, Hitler sent a high-ranking party official to inform the Vatican and the international guests in attendance that this would be the last such ceremony ever held.

Venerabilis Pivs pp XII wasn't silent and he wasn't in on the holocaust. The New York Times constantly wrote of the Pope's pleas for help from the slaughter by the Nazis of Jews. In fact S. S. He personally funded Assassination attempts on Hitler's life and went personally bankrupt of the inheritance he received when his parents died on saving Jews that he had to ask family to help and help they did. One of them was Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother and the other was S. S. Venerabilis Pivs pp XII. He was in direct conversation with the U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt through his nephew Giovanni Maria Stefano Eugenio Pacelli-Pecci on what was happening in the concentration camps. He personally scolded Roosevelt for turning back the S. S. St. Louis carrying 1013 Jews sending them back to die in the ovens. If you really study this and not just follow anti catholic videos you will see the overwhelming evidence that the Church remained true to its sacred mission. The most obvious are 1/ Even this video admits there is no evidence (around 10 minutes in) that the popes envoy Pacallei had instructed the Catholic Party to agree to support the Nazi Party. 2/ The Catholic position was clearly set out in "Darkness over the World" in 1938 by the pope as he condemned the Fascists and Communism in equal measures. 3/ the video starts with the statement that in 1942 the Pope who was confined to the Vatican knew of the extermination of the Jewish people .... I was waiting for some evidence for this Absolutely none was even suggested. 4/ When the pope died mysteriously in 1939 we find a fascist had infiltrated his medical care team (and had probably caused his death ) but as in claims against the Church we have no evidence what he did.. 5/ During the War the hands of the Church were tied. The Jewish Leaders in Israel during the end of World War II, the likes of Ben Gurion, Levi Eshkol, and Chaim Weizman know that these are all KGB Communist Propaganda to undermine the Catholic Church. Given that 65% of all Jews saved in Europe during WW2 were rescued and hidden by the Catholic Church there is a greater context here. The Church decided that doing things was more important than words. Remember that the Church including the Pope spent the war behind enemy lines.

As a German American who’s grandfather was a member of the Bund in Cleveland in the early 30’s I can understand why early on many Germans were nationalistic and wanting Germany to rise again. However my grandfather woke up early to Hitlers extremism and rejected any Nazi sympathies. My dad ended up being a tail gunner on B-24s over Germany as soon as he graduated high school in ‘43. While few pastors in Germany had the courage to openly oppose the Nazis knowing it meant their death still Bonhoffer and Neimuller did resist and speak the truth to their everlasting credit and Bonhoffers death. Why the Vatican and The Pope supported the Nazis to any degree shows me their willingness to compromise Christ’s teachings for worldly safety of Catholics in Germany. All the reformers felt the papacy was the anti-Christ so I guess perhaps it’s not surprising it’s not a better example of real Christianity.

Far from being a Church official that's not even a Catholic he is so warmly shaking hands with. Very interesting video. Is it not said that those who just stand and watch is just as bad as perpetrators. Sure the Jews were treated badly in Germany, Europe etc. But we fail to mention the other people who were marginalized and treated just as badly. Enslaved and colonized people mainly Blacks were treated very badly and killed before and during that time period too. So there were many horrible things taking place. Much peace, truth, and light.

This documentary focuses on the persecution of the jews during WWII. You just focused on the persecution of black people during this time. So what's the difference between what the documentary did and what you did? If your point is to state that there were more groups than just the jews, why not name them, instead of focusing on black people? The death camps were filled with jews, blacks, gays, lesbians, communists, gypsies,artists and anyone who disagreed with the Nazis.
