My grandmother as a 10-year old girl live with her parents on the other side of the flood wall by Rudd Street in Portland. It's really sad to see how much those people struggled to get to City back together to see what it's become now.

My grandparents took a boat to their church to get married. They both passed when there were torrential rains - irony.

My Dad Ernest Genton helped Rescue People during the 1937 flood Before he joind the Army before WW 2.

Well I guess you learn something everyday I thought the only flood in Ohio was the 1913 fluid which had less loss of life but I believe it was said that the 1913 flood was the worst
