These guys did a "high school tour" about a decade ago. They played at my school, Dobson High, in Mesa, AZ. I remember watching in awe as a stage was set up right outside the cafeteria, and these guys, raising a holy ruckus of the best kind. I can't remember if I stopped to "smell the roses" too much, since I was a total wallflower afraid of anything that moved, but I did get their demo CD. It had Another World Away, Over Me, Seasons, and a few others that my hasty comment-leaving won't bother naming (memory pls). I also distinctly remember a black girl next to me walking by, talking to a friend, laughing and scoffing in the most insulting way, pointing at the singer, noting his being black and having a mohawk. Just so happy to see these guys continued making music. I sing along to those songs still to this day,

Another story, I sang Seasons outside a Ralph's grocery store in Chatsworth (la area) and was given a $50 bill by a man who looked EXACTLY like Aloe Blacc. (Wake me up avicii). Been a fan of this band since they came out with seasons and I've always loved how talented this band truly is and they're still not a mainstream band yet but like The Veer Union, I've known about their friends in the band called Beartooth and they're gone mainstream after being an awesome band for years.
