for me, i wouldnt enjoy being in places like Venice.. even though there are beautiful buildings.. its the sort of place that rich people go. You can never enjoy yourself around rich people cos everything is so expensive that you feel like a pauper. People just look down their noses at you and you cant afford to do anything. I won a 5 star holiday in Morocco. Stayed in a 5 star hotel. It was probably the worst experience of my life. Nothing was included in the prize. If you ate in the hotel you'd spend bare minimum £150. They forced me to wear some manky old suit that didnt fit cos i wasnt allowed in the restaurant with normal clothes on. I've had better experiences staying in the poorest villages in Peru doing volunteer work than being around rich people.

When I went to Mexico, I stayed in the local part of town. Rented a 1 bedroom apt, over a liquor store, for $200 for a month! I met people that where paying that for 1 night at an american chain hotel resort!

@@tigrecito48 Venice isn't posh 😂 I think Milan is more posh. If you like history Venice is nice to visit for a day or two. Sure going to restaurants is going to be pricy if you visit expensive restaurants but it's not too bad I've been there three times at least didn't had to spend much 😂. Venice isn't only what you see in the video I stayed outside the tourist area which takes about 12 minute by train and there it's so much cheaper 😂

Went to Venice about 20 odd years ago and it was lovely. Spent most nights just riding round on the vaporettos, chatting shit and just enjoying the scenery. We were warned it smelled, but barely noticed anything, unless right on the edge of the water in a few places in the afternoons. Shocking to see how much it's changed - for the worst! Can totally see why the locals want the tourists gone. Great video though, lads! Would definitely like to see more travel adventures from you.

Not changed much since the 80's then... Went when I was about 10 or so. Did the whole backstreet walking and it stank, manky water n deformed pigeon's.... Was expensive then too... Glad we only had a day trip there from a different holiday place...

To be fair, you only see the real Venice when the day trippers have gone. We have stayed there several times, it is full of culture and a great atmosphere in the evening. However the food is dire, I remember wearing my way through a pizza with a knife because the crust was so hard!
