HI! This product is a chain-driven lifting device used for car lifts, elevators, industrial lifts, and more. It is easy to install - basically, you attach one unit in each corner of the elevator shaft, and then attach the platform to the units. The motorization is electro-mechanical, uses no toxic fluids and unlike a hydraulic elevator, there is no need for a separate room to house the hydraulic components. Since the power is directly underneath the platform, it uses less energy, powers up immediately, has no "jerk" or "bump" with stop or go, and is completely accurate in landing.
