This was my first ever Verve gig - and have loved them ever since. Ride were OK, but Verve were the support act that night and just blew my mind.

just amazing to hear these tunes in such a raw form. different grooves and tempos for certain tunes. i think they made all the right decisions with the eventual recordings. this performance shows what a wild beast Verve was. praise be to John Leckie and the other people involved in capturing these tunes.
