I pre-order a Bulls Vuca Evo Am 2, nearly full specs. With Fox38 Factory, Carbon riser, XTBreaks, 960 Ah Batterie..8199€. Also don't think they can deliver huge numbers for now. But Bombardier is now in and thinks may change quickly.

The Pinion MGU System was a notable admission in this lineup. It has to be a game changer for the future of EMTB's going forward. Just makes sense and is technology matched for the power output that these bikes now have. Rather than a lame adaptation of existing technology and engineering.

My next bike will an MGU eMTB (2019 Specialized Turbo Levo currently). Many of the big manufacturers already have them for commuter bikes. I hope we see the major players at least announcing this year (Specialized Turbo Levo Gen4?!)

@@Exuberator I don`t think Pinion will be exclusive with MGUs for long. The BMZ group just bought NOX Cycles and is already owner of former Sachs Micromobility ... together with ZF Frierichshafen ... i`d assume this Mobility Group will rule the MGU market soon. I am already waiting for the next NOX innovation with a powerfull Sachs/BMZ MGU.

Thank you for your work on this. Holy smokes there are a lot of choices out there. I'm going to ride my 2019 Giant Trance e+1 on 27.5's and 2.8" Michelins into the ground... Hope there will be a Pinion in the USA by then. I'll pay the exuberant amount, because these eMTB's give me so much happiness (and I'm old). Keep up the good work, get on a Pinion e-powered drivetrain bike soon for a review.

That Specialized "color" is either baby puke stale ketchup dried on a sidewalk, or an attempt at brown-ish/grunge/yark. Marketing rules! ......................... That Gas Gas, is frikken Bad Ass. I wish KTM brought their bikes into the US. Ive never seen one if they do bring them here. My Spectral ON will do me for a good while, love it. Not that it matters, but some of Canyon's colors and colorways, are just not real aggressive or neat looking. I went for black rather than aqua marine. Black isnt my favorite.

Very curious to hear about buying a GasGas from a eMTB rider perspective. In the USA, GG is only available to Power-sports dealers. Often no love lost between these two groups. Does that affect your decision to purchase one? Would you go into a dirt bike shop and buy one? Most dirt bike shops are full of staff that ride dirt bikes, not $8000 eMTB's. Does that factor in to your decision to purchase? I am a GG dirt bike salesmen and lucky we did not take on the eMTB line. Other shops in our area did and they still have 2022's in inventory. Asking about future orders...

In the early stages of looking for an E mountain bike. Since I’m 6’-7” tall (200 cm) and 250 lbs (114 kg) I think my selection pool will be quite small. Also very limited dealers in my area. Yes, a little bit on the heavier side. But the full powered 720 Ah Bulls, with 2.6 29er, FOX 38, built for 150Kg system weight - is about 24,6 Kg. There are Bosch Bikes around that weighs the same or even more.

Right the elephant in the room question. Which motor is more reliable, on full powered e-bikes. Has data been compiled on factory or shop returns for a new motor. All my mates have e-bikes, and we all have our motors replaced within 9 month.

How are they calculating the Watt Hour capacity.? 750wh is probably a gross exaggeration based on simple observation of the size and weight of these bikes.A common 20 WH LIon Battery weighs about 14lbs. so 200WHs would weigh 140 bls and 600wh would weigh over 400lbs.

Except the slashed their prices making all our used Levo’s worthless and they have Lots of Warranty Issues that they fight you on…. My motor was going iut for a month, Big S denied the warranty twice saying it was still “working”. I had to ride it till it was useless and I hated the bike before they finally covered it. Then it took a week for the motor. Last warranty for Battery to Motor cable they took 2 weeks to get shop the part and then didn’t cover Labor so it cost me $100! Frame has mild cracks in it that are growing, Big S says they are only surface cracks and won’t cover till the cracks show movement or it breaks!

@@leroywilliams7210 wow...crazy, my belt was stripped from teeth after ~3500km (10 months), new motor in 2 weeks. Now SRAM has the same motor, maybe they'll improve it ? only Bosch seems to be better, BUT only motor, at least year ago all bikes (with Bosch) had shitty geos and shitty remotes, even now, most of the bosch bikes have shitty integration and remotes, what a shame. That's why I think Specilized did the best job.

@@razorree Just got bike back from warranty on motor to battery cable (took over 2 weeks). Specialized didn’t cover all the labor so I had to pay. Good job big S! Well 5 rides later and my motor loses power after it warms up again. That’s how it started last time. So shops like it feels fine and I’m like go climb a big hill and then you’ll see. So it’s in for warranty again…. I think Bosch and Shimano are the least problematic but shimano makes less power.
