Excellent presentation by people who open a new universe in reading of the only available papyri collection with literature texts. The significance and methods for unwrapping and reading the texts are beyond imagination. Thank you.

Just amazing how people with a clear goal in their imagination can achieve together...Brent Seales work has been a basis for everything...just hope those who have scrolls, in their private collections would give those back. Because we all know that there are vast amounts of history in rich persons private safes etc...and we'll probably never see those because they are selfish. But luckily there are people who are not like them, those who do things that seemed impossible just decade ago. Amazing work they have done. 🙂❤️

Listening to this is about as close to being a time traveler as I am likely to get! So stimulating! So exciting!

Felicitations to the team led by Youssef. But it's a shame that the US State Department did not allow him to participate physically at this event.

It's fantastic and it opens up so many perspectives. For example, many medieval manuscripts are palimpsests. it is almost certain that AI (and the genius of those presented here) will make it possible to read ancient texts which were erased by the copyist monks of the Middle Ages.

There had been considerable archaeology done well before Mussolini and his fascists wanted Roman propaganda imagery fo use Slightly strange allocation of credit by the speaker
