My uncle Jimmy Boozer became a Black Green Beret in the 1960's and was deployed to Vietnam during the war. He retired as a MSgt with 20+ years as a highly decorated bronze star and purple heart recipient. He was the embodiment of a Black Super Hero and inspired me to be the man that I am. I salute the heroes in this video, the many other Black members of the spec ops community, along with all of my friends/family (father, brother, uncles, a well as myself) who all served this nation faithfully.

I met a Montford Marine at my job years ago. I was in awe. I think he was also amused that a young kid in a non profit org knew what Montford was and was asking about Hashmark Johnson. Great moment.

This interview was dope. I've always been fascinated with SF. I have my reasons for not trying attempting along with not jumping out of planes. Nope, I'm a chairborne ranger who loves martial arts and weapons. I have mad respect for you all. Earlier this year I LITERALLY searched for black SFs on the net because you all are underrepresented. Gonna cop SFC Cashe too. I already have a Double V shirt and an original Black Panthers T-shirt.

Bruh Jay this has to be one of the Best and Dopest Interviews You Ever Had!!! I love it Bruh!!! I was actually writing my Dissertation About The Difficulties of Minorities in Special Operations. If You Get A Chance Read What The RAND Corporation Wrote back in the early 2000’s. Their article was very opinionated and not objectively written accurately. Keep Up The Great Work!! This was great. It was crazy yesterday. For some reason, i couldn't post a comment. I remember growing up watching war movies looking for someone who looked like me. I still watch war movies. And it still seems the same that are portrayed in a positive light in minor rolls. Bad asses come in all shapes and sizes and colors. Thank you for your service. Not everyone can do spec ops, but everyone can serve.

From the horses 🐴 mouth. Look up the 555th Parachute Infantry Battalion activated in 1943 and deactivated in 1947 due to Exec Order 9981 - the desegregation of the military. Aviano 555 Air Squadron is an entirely different thing. 555 Engineers out of JB McCord different thing. ODA 555 a different thing. 555 Angel numbers a different thing…. 555 PIB were the first all black paratroopers. Second after that was the 2nd Ranger Company in Korea. Have an awesome day 🙏🏽
