Comprehensive video as always James 👍. I’ve got the original MCT which does me well for my job as an HV maintenance spark. Wish the Blackout was out when I bought mine, but I don’t think I’ll upgrade just yet. I’ve also got the TP-LC as a home general tool grab bag and the OT-LC for my plumbing gear (bought after your review, as it happens 👍).

Cheers Mr Vroom 101. My mate has the original MCT and he too is happy with it. The update to Blackout is not something he'll be doing either. Personally I've been working out if it for a few weeks now and can't fault it for the little beast it is. I too use the OT-LC for plumbing! Like other Vero bags it's perfect for all my water and pipe based tools.

@@JBE I’ve got a TP XL, MB and MB3. Plus OC170. All my other stuff is Velocity. I really think mixing and matching veto and velocity is the way to go as they offer quite different things. Re Tech MCT I was looking for a small call out bag that would fit fluke T90 and clamp meters etc. lots of bags are either massive or too short. Just subscribed - going to watch back some more of your reviews. Cheers! 🫡

Think this will be my next bag, have a TP XL at the moment which keeps falling over and a tech pac which gets too heavy, was holding out to see if they brought a blackout tech lc out this year but doesn’t look like they’re gonna so this one is now on my radar

I hear you, the TP-XL can get a little top heavy with it's narrow base! I also loaded my Tech Pac Bkackout out to breaking point (my backs breaking point not the bag? I'm finding this a great medium sized bag and with the different panels you can change your load out and keep the same main bag. Personally I really like the tablet panel.

I've got the original MCT. Love it. Wish it had the mesh pocket though. Ideal for sleeving and connectors

@J Beck Electrical I had a velocity before, which had a mesh pocket, and that's what I used it for. I get around it with the Veto by using the ck magma pencil case size bags for sleeving and connectors. Just hang them from a carabiner on the d rings. Love having two sides to the bag as well 👍

Yknow i just got one and was thimoing, why do they sell the bulk storage if well.. its already a completely empty space with velcro, if you didnt want anything on it you could just line it with easily removable felt, idk just popped into my mind i might try it myseld 😂

I can confirm it does fit, I've had megger in the bag a couple of times. You just can't load out the mesh pockets too much.

That's the trouble with having a big bag...you tend to fill it up with everything because you think you might need it and it'll save you a trip to the van/truck/site locker/shed/garage or Ford Escort Van in my younger years. After a few weeks of usage I can tell you this it just enough and keeps everything dust free from those other pesky trades with their sawdust and mud flying everywhere! I'll be back making an idiot of myself soon don't worry 😎
