Awesome video, command mode :set paste will paste from your desktop environment’s clipboard. For example, copy some text from a web page using a web browser. In vi/m, use set paste in Command mode will allow u to paste what u copied from webpage into Vi/m.

You're teaching vim, not vi and linux doesn't come with vi but elvis that's a vi clone.

Hi Indronil, you are absolutely correct. What i used in the video was vim as the command “vi” points to the vim executable on the CAINE distro. At the beginner level, the commands that i went over are basically the same. But vim is the improved version of vi so thanks for pointing that out.
