The bigger concern for me is that Trisha said personal things about Jason’s ex wife and children and their custody that should really be private. Not only that, but it seemed as very revengeful to make this video- calling her boyfriend creepy and her supposed friend a horrible person. I’d be interested to see a sequel to this story after the recent Jason post addressing this.

It’s unfair to the kids and fucked up to bring their upbringing into this to begin with. That video didn’t need to be made to begin with
@daniellebalouise95965 жыл бұрын
People are friends with horrible people often. The like bias makes those "horrible" things people have done permissable. Also, when all you've ever known are toxic or unhealthy dynamics, those sorts of dynamics are normalized, and the notion that -healthy- relationships could be an option are almost foreign. Trisha's had a lot of unfortunate foundations. Finding your way to recovery and health is very difficult, especially if you don't have the healthy people you need in your life to make recovery and growth sustainable and a long term possibility. I don't understand generally why people get twisted up by Trisha and her behavior. It's not like much she does is out of line with her behavior historically, not to mention that the fellas she is around don't face the same level of call outs or accountability-demands or blame that Trisha does. Idk. People are curious. Anyway. I really only wanted to point out that toxic behavior isn't usually fully recognized until the people in the dynamic of it get some distance or are pushed beyond their limits and do something that breaks something.
@sparkle99095 жыл бұрын
Trisha said when she was new to the vlog squad that she’d release “expose” videos on everyone in the squad. She said this when she was on good terms with everyone. While I believe she is genuinely upset with Jason, she knows the attention and money she’ll get by making videos about other youtubers. And I feel like Jason’s ex wife has a right to say that her kids shouldn’t live with a woman she feels like is an inappropriate influence on them. The way Trisha acts by lashing out only makes her image look worse and now Jason ex is validated in her opinion.
@tyler49565 жыл бұрын

@chany82065 жыл бұрын
I guess it's an American thing to find that weird.. Here in Germany it's not that uncommon tbh.. I mean, when I was 16 I dated a guy who was 21.. Legal age is 16 here (actually 14 but with extra rules) Idk if her parents approve I believe it shouldn't be anybodys business..you can be independent with 17 and you are old enough to know right from wrong.
@mia.semolina5 жыл бұрын
@@chany8206 Your brain isn't even fully developed until you're 21. I think it's an issue of younger women idolizing older men and feeling mature for dating them. Age gaps don't matter as much as you get older because you're past puberty, school, and general growing up/main learning how to be an adult. People drag Trisha for making sexual jokes about herself and always being sexual but I truly believe she may do that to beat people to the punchline. Like she’s taking control of what she knows people will mock her for. I don’t know if that makes sense to anyone but this is what I believe is the reasoning behind why she is always so quick to throw out sexual jokes and make fun of how slutty she is. She has so many issues and I really do feel bad for her. I wish she could get into a good headspace.

I think you’re fixating on Trish having said the 17 year old comment to make it seem illegal when 1. She was telling the truth as we now know and 2. It was more to highlight what she felt was an inappropriate age difference. Younger people may not get this as easily bc it’s more of a hindsight thing, but 24 and 17 for the majority of people are two different worlds in terms of the place you’re in within your life. Someone in their second year of grad school dating a teenager is fucking weird.

Brittney Lynn dude doesn’t matter she’s old enough to make her own decisions, she’s not stupid or naivez they’ve been dating for like over a year now, like if she wasn’t happy with him they wouldn’t be together. Also her parents would have stopped it if they felt the relationship was inappropriate. Also Trisha only brought it up because she wanted to hurt the people around Japan cause she was salty; she also brought by his ex wife and kids whom had nothing to do with what was going down.

@thisishersong5 жыл бұрын
Quincy Tyler you seem like a kid and a fan so I’m not going to take this super seriously. But there’s a thing called an imbalance of power. When you are young and the prefrontal cortex of your. brain isn’t formed yet, you literally don’t have the part that thinks fully rationally until your early to mid 20’s. That isn’t debatable, it’s science. So when an adult dates a teenager, that teenager isn’t able to think rationally and also defers to the adult as the ‘leader’ of the relationship. It’s easy for the older partner to hold a power over the teenager because of life experience. Her dating him in the beginning will always be more his decision than hers, because he could think rationally and she couldn’t. Even if they’re both adults now, the relationship started imbalanced and will not even out unless they address it in therapy. As I said in my comment, this isn’t something you see when you’re young. When you’ve graduated college and your friend is dating a teenager, you’ll think it’s gross and get far far away from them.
@tyler49565 жыл бұрын
Brittney Lynn but if she had been eighteen at the time would you have such a problem with it?!? She was like a month away from being eighteen. I’m not saying it wasn’t illegal, but I do think people are blowing it out of proportion. Again you’re treating her as if she’s a child. When in reality they probably have the same level of maturity. Like he’s a youtuber, he’s not her teacher. He can’t force her to do anything. You may think the age gap is too much, but it’s not your life we are talking about. If she’s happy with him. Then really what’s the big deal?

If it's a crime you go to the authorities and have it handled with gravity and discretion, but it's bullshit and nothing is going to progress to the happy better world we all want if these keyboard detectives keep digging up dirt and demanding we treat the slight as if it just happened. Justice isn't no longer justice if you make it social.

That's cause its almost never supposed to be justice. These instances are usually just people looking to see others taken down. I never clicked on a video so fast. I do have some criticism tho... 1) Trisha said in the video right after the bit that you posted something along the lines of “Im not saying David Is Ted bundy.” I think she made the comparison because she said he seemed charming, but he was actually a psychopath. It’s an extreme, but omitting the latter part just makes it seem like you purposefully didn’t include it because you like David, especially because you said that comparison is why you can’t believe the messenger. That being said, I’m not the biggest fan of Trisha, nor do I believe she’s 100% pure in her intentions. She clearly loves the drama 2) I’ve been skeptical of David because he’s constantly bringing young girls for Dom to hook up with and even though as far as I know, none of these girls have come forward to feeling like they were being harassed or violated, it’s at the very least super sketchy that he’s using his “celebrity status” to take advantage of young girls who idolize him. It’s gross. It makes me feel uneasy. And this is coming from someone who is admitting to being a fan and trying to look past this. But I don’t think we should. I think it’s something that should be addressed. Especially because it’s a constant joke that they’re not sure how old these girls are and they know that their audience tends to be young. 3) Brandon CLEARLY was seeing this girl as a minor and that’s just creepy.

Who really cares if she was 17 1/2 or 18? Why the fuck does it matter at that point? People just like to stick their noses in other folks business just to fan flames of drama. The internet denizens are so lame at times.

It's kind of fucked how the internet archives EVERYTHING we do and most of us document it WILLINGLY. Any bad actor can go back through all the data to try to ruin your life with your old bad decisions or out of context quotes/images.

To me though when you say you started dating when she turned 18, is that you were at least doing something before she turned 18. Even if they weren't doing anything before she turned 18 It's super creepy to wait for someone to turn 18 before you start dating them. But I think a major point is not whether they were dating before she was 18 it's that this guy talking with a girl who was 17 year old girl that then lead to them start dating once she turned 18.

It's a pattern with this dude. He also admitted to putting shoe polish on his face in the 80's when he was dressing up as Michael Jackson. Aside from how ridiculous it is that he's going straight Minstrel Show with using shoe polish for the complexion of black people, it's particularly ridiculous in the case of 80's Michael Jackson who was already fairly lightskin.

The fucked up thing is that isn't even the most important part of the. Northam story. The guy went on a radio show and defended "post birth abortion"...as in killing a baby already born. It was only after this statement came out that the old picture magically surfaced. I'm very disappointed that Phil didn't even touch on that. Come on man!

1. Whether you people like it or not, there’s going to be youtube news every now and again. Phil is ON KZbin too and some of us only ever watch youtube, so we like to know what’s going on and what people are talking about on social media and comments etc etc. don’t want to hear it? THEN SKIP IT. simple solution. 🙄 if Phil got completely rid of youtube news we’d have another large group of people asking for it back or why he’s not covering it. 2. Idk why, but trisha has always been INSANELY annoying to me and i can’t take her seriously in any way shape or form. i honestly think this is an attention thing. you can be uncomfortable with jokes without making a long ass video about it crying on youtube and that’s besides the fact that there’s proof that she’s joked about similar things.. spare us..

People losing ad revenue, internet availability, and streaming competition are KZbin news. That first story is some TMZ shit. People can request these stories on the show just like people can request they get excluded.

I think regarding Trish joking about wanting to sleep with those dudes is she joke with the Nash guy. When he did it with the other dude he was alone making those jokes. And she'd asked him not to do those things before, like she didnt find it funny it was actually hurt by that shit. Just my two cents. I watched all of the video.
@TroubleFerell775 жыл бұрын
I meant to say those just joke about it in front of Nash.
@victoriahos5 жыл бұрын
TroubleFerell77 Oh no, i totally get that too and i have been in the same situation.. but to make as big of a deal out of it as she did? not necessary. full out “exposing” people, as they say, and sobbing on camera because of some jokes was a bit of a reach. I guess i’m also slightly biased though, because like i said, i don’t really like her to begin with. but regardless, i think she blew it a bit out of proportion 🤷🏽♀️ just my opinion of course
